The Expansive Mother

I recorded this podcast in the last hour before the movers came in the appartement where this podcast was created. That's right we're moving and closing the chapter in this place and moving into a new home with a whole new vibe. I love to look back at how I grew and what I learnt before turning the page at anything in life and in this episode, it's exactly what I'm doing. I find it gives me a chance to live everything that is meant to be lived in the present such as grief, excitement, wonder, fear, etc because they all get to co-exist and be a part of the experience. In this appartement was where I lived the most contractions and where I saw myself grow even deeper within myself. I notice that sometimes, chapters don't have to look all exciting and shiny for them to be meaningful. In fact, at this place is where I cried the most when closing the door. We often fear new chapters when they don't look like the previous ones, resisting what life wants to teach us and therefore resisting ourselves growing and evolving.This episode is like a big permission slip to embrace the changes that comes with every ebb and flow in life so you can be born into the new person you were meant to be.Enjoy!Vanessa

In this episode I was inspired to talk about Expansion. How women are the definition of EXPANSION, we are multi-facetted beings and we often get put, or we put ourselves in a limiting box. The way I see it is that as we embrace the loving grounding inner-mother, this adult part of ourselves get's to give permission for all of our multi-facets to exists. It's an all embracing hug for all of our beautiful colours to exist.Hope you enjoy the episode!

The Expansive Mother podcast is all about embracing the mother phase of our life, wether you desire children or not. It's about embracing this deep sovereignty and self-nurture that can help bear the fruits your life force so desperately want to bring to life, wether being a project, a relationship or again you wanting children. The Expansive part of the podcast is all about letting yourself out of the box so you can let your unique creativity come to life, but we'll get to this topic in the next episode. In this episode I'm focusing on the "Mother" aspect. I'll be talking about my journey that brought me to creating this podcast, I'm assuming you might relate to some of the stories. I'll also be addressing how society often worships the "Maiden" phase in our life so it can make it really hard to let go of. Well actually we don't want to let go of the Maiden, we just don't want her to take the lead after a certain point, we want our decisions to come from the Mother! I hope this episode inspires you!
