Episode 10: The Mess You Make of Your Life

HEY HEY, EVERYBODY!!! Yet again, albeit later in the day, The Experiment rides again! First up, for "Scott Recommends..." I talk about The Menu, the film from some of the same creative folks behind HBO's "Succession" that's a beautifully biting take on class and the service industry. Savory, spoiler-filled, and stuffed with words! Then, I go a bit more somber for a brief follow up to my rant from Episode 7's On My Mind segment in regards to impending shutdowns of the entertainment industry to my aversion to returning to the office. No worries, though. Next week is a total palate cleanser, I promise! Cheers! New episodes every Monday! Episode 9: Only Human

HELLO, YOU LUCKY PEOPLE!!! Once again, The Experiment is back with big news and a quiet opening because I record elements of this podcast at all hours, but especially for the 20th anniversary of the movie I'm revisiting for "Scott Revisits..." As of today, The Matrix Reloaded is two decades old and I literally record this during my favorite part of the movie! Then, I break down my fears of returning to the office due to, once again, my living situation so loads to go through on there. So kick back, relax, and if you sync up the my revisit of Reloaded just right, about 20 seconds after the chateau fight starts, you'll have a nice little commentary to go along with the movie! Cheers! New episodes every Monday! Follow @ScottTheExperiment on Instagram and @ScottExperiment on Twitter for updates on new episodes! Cheers!

    Episode 8: Bloodline Problems

This week I talk future plans for the podcast, along with introducing yet another new segment related to film and television called "Scott Revisits..." But that's for next week, for now, Scott Reviews is back with Scream VI, a film that has an obscenely high number of stabbings, and also Kirby is back in the most unexpected way. Well, at least to me. Then, I talk about my own experience of breaking out of familiar and familial patterns and how recognizing your trauma leads to growth because at least my dad isn't a serial killer*! *This was recorded on May 8th on the off chance I might be wrong about that statement because like in any Scream film, trust NO ONE! New episodes every Monday! Follow @ScottTheExperiment on Instagram and @ScottExperiment on Twitter for updates on new episodes! Cheers!

    Episode 7: Going Corporate

SUCK IT, NERDS! THE EXPERIMENT IS GOING CORPORATE!!! This week I talk about corporate shows owned by corporations that don't like to pay the people who write shows and movies what they should. How? First, a special segment called "Scott Recommends...", where I break free from the algorithm to recommend a show or film you should be watching, and this week is all about "Industry" on HBO. Then, I rant about how my own non-entertainment corporate experience, and why I left, is almost identical to what the writers' strike are currently negotiating over and may possibly go on strike to guarantee. In short, going corporate is chaos! New episodes every Monday! Follow @ScottTheExperiment on Instagram and @ScottExperiment on Twitter for updates on new episodes! Cheers!

    Episode 6: Take the Hint

The Experiment is back and man is this episode a doozy, especially since this is the first episode without a two-year gap in a long time. Speaking of ghosting, this week Scott Reviews... Ghosted. The Apple Original romcom with Chris Evans and Ana de Armas dropped on Apple TV+ this weekend and... I have concerns. Concerns I address in the "On My Mind" segment this week where I talk both dating and technology why I was super disturbed by the first third of the movie I just reviewed. It's a good episode, and now it's on Apple Podcasts, too! Enjoy and cheers!

  6. 5

Episode 5: For Real This Time

YEAH, I'M THINKING I'M BACK!!!! The Experiment lives again! I give a few updates on this podcast and how we're going full-steam ahead, I also introduce "Scott Reviews" and review John Wick: Chapter 4, asking why we can't let assassins grieve in peace. Then, on the newly renamed "On My Mind," I give you guys the biggest update on how I'M doing and spoiler alert... I'm better than I was during that last episode!  New episodes every Monday Morning! Episode 4: We Don't Talk About 2020

It's been TOO LONG!!!! Long story short, new episode is here, 2020 was trash, and I review the latest awesome gangster film I've seen in a new segment called "A Review of Something I Saw" and talk about "The Gentlemen" from director Guy Ritchie. You can also check the video version on YouTube, too! (https://youtu.be/aFaVfZWCp5I) New episodes every Sunday! Episode 3: There is No Interview, Only Scott

After an extended hiatus due to computer issues, this new episode (recorded on October 1st) is all rant and learning. First off, I talk about the struggles of working in an office while also balancing my artistic lifestyle and whether either one can coexist in such a stressful environment. Then I rant hard about my romantic life and how it's taken a toll on my mental health as well as my physical well-being. New episodes every two weeks. Follow @the.experiment.is.live on Instagram for updates on upcoming episodes. Cheers!

Episode 2: Two Hoosiers and a Fox (feat. Tiffany Cervantes & Michelle Parks)

It's Episode Two!!! This time around we have Michelle Parks and Tiffany Cervantes from "Two Hoosiers in L.A.", a podcast about two women from Indiana who come to Los Angeles to become actors and experience some serious culture shock from Southern California's most famous city. I serve as their Technical Advisor on the show, so I invited them onto my podcast and we talk words and films that don't exist, pets, dating, and of course we get super personal. Afterwards on my Odd Man's Rant, I go off about streaming services, the companies behind them doing the most, and the content struggle. Enjoy!

  10. 1

Episode 1: To Rap and Film in Los Angeles (feat. Majorino)

Hear me and Majorino talk about our love-hate relationship with Los Angeles, being roommates in art school, dream collaborations with artists, and the artist experience itself. Then, I go on a rant about shooting and setting a film in Los Angeles and using Koreatown as Downtown L.A. and why I think it's irritating.
