The concept of mortality, an ever-present aspect of life, becomes clearer with age and personal loss, leading to a desire to use time wisely and focus on meaningful engagements. Acceptance of mortality can lead to a shift in priorities, a willingness to make big decisions, and a focus on experiences over the rat race. This awareness of mortality can also impact creative pursuits, such as photography.

LD and Jonathan talk about their plans to travel to Iceland at some point in the future. They go through the inspiration, ideas, and just generally chat about the excitement of this trip.

Jonathan recently sold his beloved Toyota Tacoma. The truck was a large part of J’s life and many huge milestones happened with this truck. Selling the truck was a more emotional experience than expected. So this leads us to ask what makes something hold sentimental value to us? Is it the experiences we have with said object? Or is it a family heirloom? In this episode we explore our own definitions of sentimentality and how it relates to our perception of how our parents define it.

Growing up in the 90’s the quintessential thing to do after school, during breaks, or really anytime was to watch TV. With limited selection of shows we quickly drew our attention to a few shows that helped shape our childhood. Boy Meets World, Tool Time, Rugrats, the list may not be endless but there were a few shows that really stuck with us. This episode is dedicated to those shows, what they mean to us, and what we took away from them.
