With the lack of competition in the midsize e-moto market, the only logical thing to do was to put the 2024 Surron Ultra Bee to a head-to-head test with the 2025 Surron Ultra Bee. In preparation for this podcast, Nate and I went out to the infamous Charouleau Gap 4x4 trail in Southern Arizona. We rode the 2024 Surron Ultra Bee and the 2025 Surron Ultra Bee to take a real-life look at which bike performs better and whether the 2025 version is worth the upgrade for those who may have the 2024 model sitting in their garage. Nate started riding dirt bikes at just 9 years old. From an XR70 to a CRF450, he rode and raced a wide range of bikes growing up. But when he headed off to college, he shifted gears to focus on a new passion: audio production and music.
