Have you ever snapped at someone you love and spent the rest of the day carrying that weight? Or pushed your body past its limits and called it discipline? Today we explore ahimsa, non-violence, the first of the five yamas and the first ethical commitment on the eight-limbed path of yoga. This episode is not about the obvious stuff. It's about the more quiet ways we cause harm, in our words, our thoughts, our actions, and how yoga invites us to look at the whole picture. Daniela shares her personal agreement with Pedro, her experience as a vegetarian, and three journaling questions to help you explore where non-violence might take root in your own life.Continuing the series on the eight limbs of yoga.:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. A Living Map Back to Yourself: The 8 Limbs of Yoga
Most people think yoga starts on the mat. It doesn't.In this episode, Pedro introduces the Eight Limbs of yoga, the ancient map from Patanjali's Yoga Sutras that has been quietly organizing this practice for thousands of years. Not as philosophy, not as theory, but as a living checkpoint system you can actually use when life gets blurry. This is the opening episode of a new series. You'll get a clear overview of all eight limbs — from the Yamas (how you meet the world) to Samadhi (loving and respecting all of it) — and a simple practice to take with you this week before the series goes deeper. If you've been practicing for a while and something still feels like it's missing, this map might be what you've been looking for.:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. Don't make your life smaller
When life gets heavy, the first thing we do is start removing things. And sometimes that's exactly right. But there's a moment when removing becomes shrinking, when we're not simplifying our life, we're making it smaller so we don't have to feel as much.In this episode, Daniela shares her own experience and the realization that the answer wasn't to keep taking things away, it was to expand her capacity to hold them. Through Kundalini Yoga, its kriyas, pranayamas, mantras and meditations, she explores what it really means to become stronger. Not by forcing, but by training your nervous system to hold more, feel more, and live more fully. This one is for anyone who has felt their world getting smaller and wonders if there's another way.:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. The Moment You Realize
Have you ever reached a moment where something inside you simply knows: I can’t keep living like this. This episode is for that moment. The moment when life no longer fits the person you have become. When exhaustion, disconnection, grief, or silent unhappiness can no longer be ignored. In this conversation, we explore the psychology of “rock bottom” and why moments of crisis, while never something to seek, can become the most powerful catalysts for transformation.Through the wisdom of Patanjali’s first sutra, “And now, the discipline of yoga,” we reflect on change not as something to fear, but as a sacred invitation to begin again with honesty, presence, and courage. If life is asking something new from you right now, this episode is your reminder that perhaps this is not the end of something…perhaps it is the beginning of coming back to yourself.🎧 Listen if you are feeling:• emotionally exhausted• disconnected from yourself• stuck in a life that no longer feels aligned• called toward change but afraid to take the first stepRemember: it is one step at a time. That is the only speed that gets you there.:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. Consistency is not what you think
Why is it so hard to stay consistent… even with the things we know make us feel better? We often think consistency means doing more, doing it perfectly, or doing it every day. But what if that’s not what truly sustains us?In this episode, Daniela explores a different perspective on consistency, one that moves away from intensity and perfection, and into something more real, more sustainable, and more human.Blending neuroscience with yogic wisdom, and the practical tools of Kundalini Yoga, she shares what’s really happening when we feel stuck, unmotivated, or disconnected, and why it’s not about discipline. You’ll understand how the brain creates low-energy loops, why motivation comes after action, and how simple practices—like breath, movement, and meditation, can shift your state and bring you back into alignment. This is an invitation to stop forcing yourself… and start working with your energy.Inside the episode:Why you’re already consistent (just not always in what serves you)How to gently shift low-energy statesWhy small practices are more powerful than intensityHow Kundalini Yoga helps you regulate your energy and stay connected, even on difficult days:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. Is It Your Soul or Your Ego Speaking?
How do you know if it’s your soul guiding you… or your ego protecting you?In this episode of The Imagine Podcast, we explore one of the most important inner distinctions you can learn: the difference between the voice of the ego and the voice of the soul. Most of us have experienced it.A quiet inner knowing… followed by a louder voice full of doubt, fear, and logic. But here’s the truth: you’re not confused. You’re hearing two different intelligences within you.The challenge is learning which one to trust. In this conversation, we break down:What the ego really is (and why it’s not your enemy)How the ego uses fear to protect your identity and comfortWhy fear itself is not the problem — and how to relate to it consciouslyThe subtle but powerful way the soul communicatesThe difference between reacting (ego) and responding (soul)How to recognize when fear is informing you vs controlling youA simple practice to make clearer, more aligned decisionsThis episode is not about eliminating fear. It’s about understanding it… so it no longer runs your life.Because clarity doesn’t always come without fear. But when you learn to listen differently, you stop defaulting to protection…and start choosing alignment. If you’ve ever felt torn between what feels safe and what feels true, this episode will help you understand why — and what to do about it.:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. Align Your Vibration: The Fifth Sutra of the Aquarian Age
In this final episode of the series on the Five Sutras of the Aquarian Age, we explore the fifth and last sutra:“Vibrate the Cosmos. The Cosmos Shall Clear the Path.”What does it mean to “vibrate the cosmos”? And how does our inner state shape the way we move through life?In this conversation, Daniela reflects on the idea that everything is vibration — our thoughts, our emotions, our words, and the energy we bring into every moment. While we cannot control what happens around us, we can influence how we meet life: from fear or from love, from resistance or from alignment.Drawing on the Kundalini Yoga understanding of Naad — the sound current, this episode explores the transformative power of sound, mantra, and conscious speech. When our frequency shifts, our perception shifts. And often, the path that once seemed blocked begins to reveal itself. This episode invites you to reflect on a simple but powerful question:What is the vibration you are contributing to the world?Because sometimes, when we align our vibration with something larger than our immediate fears, life begins to move with a little more clarity, flow, and coherence.:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. Understand Through Compassion
In this episode, we continue our journey through the Sutras of the Aquarian Age, arriving at the fourth:“Understand through compassion, or you will misunderstand the times.”After exploring relationship, resilience in difficulty, and courage in action, we now turn to perception itself, how we interpret a world moving faster than our nervous systems can easily process. This conversation unpacks why compassion is not merely kindness, but a form of expanded awareness. When change accelerates, anxiety seeks certainty, and certainty often hardens into judgment. Compassion interrupts that reflex, allowing us to see context, pressure, and the deeper forces shaping behavior, in others and in ourselves.Drawing from the teachings of Kundalini Yoga, we explore compassion through the lens of the fourth chakra (Anahata) and its connection to the heart, lungs, and thymus gland, a powerful metaphor for intelligent openness: the capacity to stay receptive without losing boundaries. You’ll hear reflections on:Why compassion refines discernment rather than weakening itThe role of self-compassion in nervous system regulationThe difference between compassion and pityHow misunderstanding fuels polarizationPractical ways to apply this Sutra in daily life and relationshipsThis episode is an invitation to widen perception in a time of complexity, to move from reactivity to understanding, and from overwhelm to clarity.Because in an age of constant change, compassion is not a luxury. It is a way of seeing.:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. When the time is on you, start, and the pressure will be off
We continue our series on the Five Sutras of Kundalini Yoga for the Aquarian Age with the Third Sutra:When the time is on you, start and the pressure will be off.In a world that constantly demands more from us, overwhelm has become almost normal. Deadlines, expectations, unfinished tasks, and the silent weight of what we know we should be doing can build intense internal pressure. But what if the pressure is not the task itself? What if the pressure comes from staying in the mind, replaying the past and predicting the future, instead of moving into action? In this episode, we explore why we cannot think ourselves into right action, and how the simple act of beginning shifts our energy, brings us back into the present, and softens the pressure almost immediately. You will reflect on:Why overwhelm grows when we stay in analysisThe difference between thinking and participatingHow small, humble steps break paralysisWhat it really means to live in alignment in the Aquarian AgeThis is not about productivity. It is about sovereignty. It is about presence. It is about remembering that movement reconnects us with our inner guidance. If something in your life feels heavy right now, this episode is your invitation to stand up and begin.:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. There is a way through every block
What if the block you’re facing is not a dead end but a doorway? In this episode of The Imagine Podcast, Pedro explores the second Sutra of the Aquarian Age in Kundalini Yoga:There is a way through every block. This is not optimism. It is training. In a time defined by pressure, climate instability, political fragmentation, technological acceleration, and economic uncertainty, difficulty is not the exception. It is the environment. And when the mind believes there is no way forward, the nervous system contracts, creativity shuts down, and paralysis sets in.This episode offers a different posture.Drawing from the teachings of Kundalini Yoga and a parallel insight from Stoic philosophy, we examine how obstacles can become the very material of transformation. Not by denying pain. Not by forcing solutions. But by shifting perception. You will learn how this Sutra helps you:Stay regulated under pressureMove from reactivity to conscious agencyReplace paralysis with intelligent actionEngage challenges without collapsing internallyAsk better questions when facing uncertaintyInstead of asking “Why is this happening?” You begin asking, “What is this asking of me?”Through practical reflection and grounded insight, this episode helps you develop the inner architecture required for complexity, the stability, clarity, and responsibility demanded by our time. The obstacle may not be here to stop you.It may be here to refine you.Listen in, and begin looking for the way through.:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. Softening Rigidity Through the First Sutra of the Aquarian Age
In this episode, we begin a new series exploring the Five Sutras of the Aquarian Age from Kundalini Yoga, not as abstract teachings, but as lived practices for everyday life.We start with the first sutra: Recognize that the other person is you.At first, it can sound poetic, even idealistic. And yet, when relationships feel tense, when we feel triggered, misunderstood, or polarized, this sutra becomes deeply challenging. What does it really mean to recognize ourselves in the other without excusing harmful behavior or losing our boundaries? How do we soften inner rigidity without collapsing into agreement or self-abandonment?In this conversation, Daniela explores this sutra as a practical lens for daily life. Moving from the yogic understanding of I, You, and Thou, to the experience of stillness beneath identity and defense, this episode invites reflection on how separation hardens us, and how recognizing our shared source can restore clarity. This is not an invitation to bypass difference, but to respond from truth rather than react from fear.A grounded exploration of connection, discernment, and what it means to practice yoga in a polarized world.:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. What do we do when things don’t change, even after we’ve tried again and again? In this episode, Pedro reflects on something we all face at some point, the moment when effort feels useless and we start to believe there’s nothing left to do. Not as a concept, not as motivation, but as lived experience. This conversation explores what Pedro calls our capacity to respond, the part of us that remains available even when circumstances feel fixed, even when we’re tired, disappointed, or stuck in familiar patterns.Drawing from Stoic philosophy and Kundalini Yoga, the episode offers grounded reflections and practical ways to reconnect with that inner margin of action. Not to fix everything, but to stay in relationship with life, one honest step at a time. This is an episode for anyone who feels trapped, has failed more than once, or is quietly wondering if change is still possible.Because even here, even now, there is always something we can still do.:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. From exhausted to nourished
What if the difference between feeling nourished and feeling exhausted had less to do with what you’re doing… and more to do with how present you are while doing it?In this episode, Daniela reflects on the difference between habits and rituals, and how presence is what transforms ordinary actions into meaningful experiences.Through a simple moment, walking the dog in the woods outside Madrid, she explores how the same action can feel either draining or deeply grounding, depending on our inner state. This reflection extends into our meditation and yoga practice, and into any activity we choose as a way to grow or come back to ourselves. You’ll hear about:The difference between doing and beingHow even beneficial practices can become sources of stressThe Sanskrit concept of Artha, and the hidden order beneath everyday lifeHow daily life itself can become the practice of Kundalini YogaThis episode is an invitation to slow down, return to presence, and rediscover how rituals are not something we add to life, but something we remember. If you’re feeling rushed, overwhelmed, or disconnected from your practice, this conversation offers a gentle doorway back.:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. What Changes With a 40 day Practice
A 40-day practice is a core structure in Kundalini Yoga, and it also appears across many traditions and times as a container for real transformation. In this episode, Pedro explores why 40 days is not an arbitrary number, but a time frame that aligns with how the nervous system, habits, and identity actually change. Drawing from yogic philosophy, psychology, and lived experience, he reflects on how repetition reshapes the brain, reduces inner friction, and allows discipline to mature into care. This is not an episode about pushing harder or doing more. It’s about continuity, simplicity, and what becomes possible when we stop negotiating with ourselves and stay with a practice long enough for it to take root.A quiet exploration of change that happens slowly and lasts.🧘♀️ Join the free 40-day practice to live with Clarity & Intention!:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. The Willingness To Live
What if this year you didn’t start by trying to be better, but by being more present? In this opening episode, Daniela invites us to explore the Willingness to Live: a way of meeting life with openness, commitment, and presence, even when there are no guarantees.Through the lens of Kundalini Yoga and the classical teachings of Patañjali, we explore how daily practice, not driven by perfection or over-achievement , can become an inner compass that reconnects us with the True Self.Daniela shares why, at Imagine, we begin every year with a free 40-day practice: a gift of reconnection with ourselves and with our community, and how, year after year, this simple commitment to “being there for yourself” profoundly changes lives, not through perfection, but through presence.✨ An episode to begin the year grounded, clear, and open-hearted.🧘♀️ Join the free 40-day practice to live with Clarity & Intention!:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. Give Life to Freedom
In this episode, Daniela shares a deep and personal reflection inspired by an event that has touched millions: María Corina Machado emerging from hiding to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. From her perspective as a Venezuelan and as a practitioner and teacher of Kundalini Yoga, Daniela explores an essential truth: freedom is not something we wait for, it is something we practice. Every day. With every breath. Through every conscious choice.Through the yogic concept of Tapas, inner fire, living discipline, the energy that keeps us awake, this episode invites us to reflect on what it truly means to be alive, to be at peace, and to live aligned with our truth.Because in yoga, peace is not the absence of conflict, but coherence between who we are, what we feel, what we do, and what we say. This is not a political episode. It is an intimate invitation to ignite our inner freedom, to take responsibility for being present, and to remember that true peace is born from truth, justice, and conscious love.🎧 An episode to listen to slowly, breathe deeply, and choose, once again, to be alive.✨ Sat Nam ✨:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. The Truth About Holiday Stress Part 1
The holidays are approaching, and while this season is often wrapped in lights, magic, and expectation, many of us feel something far more complex: tension, pressure, emotional activation, and yes, family stress. In this episode, Pedro opens an honest and compassionate conversation about why this happens. Drawing from research, psychology, and yogic wisdom, he explores the three core reasons why family gatherings can feel overwhelming, the pressure to perform emotions, the old relational roles that return the moment we walk into the room, and the exhaustion that comes from the logistical overload of this time of year. This episode is an invitation to understand yourself with clarity and tenderness. There is nothing wrong with you if the holidays feel heavy, you are human, and you are not alone. Part 1 brings awareness and understanding, so that in Part 2 we can move into tools, strategies, and Kundalini practices that truly help transform your experience. In part 2 we will dive into the “how”, with practical guidance and powerful yogic tools.:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. The Courage to Begin Again
In this episode, Pedro explores a kind of beginning we often overlook — the beginnings that don’t ask us to change our entire life, but to see our life with new eyes.We tend to imagine “beginning again” as something dramatic: a new job, a move, a reinvention. But most renewals happen quietly, in subtle shifts, small choices, gentle awakenings.Pedro shares reflections, metaphors, and personal moments that reveal a simple truth: life doesn’t always need to be rebuilt, but it does need to be refreshed. Just like the body needs new stretches and new ways of moving, the inner world needs new breath, new curiosity, new ways of being alive within the same story. This episode is for anyone who feels something inside stirring, not broken, not lost, just ready for renewal. Perhaps the invitation isn’t to start from scratch, but to begin differently.A reminder that beginnings aren’t the opposite of endings. They are the natural pulse of growth, the return of aliveness to everyday life.A gentle and inspiring reflection on courage, presence, and the art of beginning again.:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. What started as a moment of fear and hesitation became a powerful reminder of what yoga calls Ānanda, the bliss that already lives within us.Through storytelling and reflection, Daniela explores how joy is not a reward for when life is perfect, but a discipline of returning to what makes us feel alive. She invites you to listen to your inner guidance, to notice the small things that bring lightness and peace, and to begin creating your own joy list, a simple but profound practice to come back to when stress or doubt appear.Because joy isn’t something we chase,it’s something we cultivate.Listen until the end and find out a powerful Kundalini Yoga mantra to cultivate the state of Ānanda.:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. The Trick of Optional
What if the very things that sustain us, like rest, meditation, connection, and joy, are the first ones we treat as optional? In this episode, Pedro reflects on the surprising pattern he has seen after years of guiding students in Imagine Yoga Academy’s Teacher Trainings: the same reason people say yes to their practice is often the reason others say no.With warmth, honesty, and practical wisdom, Pedro explores what he calls The Trick of Optional, the invisible habit of postponing what truly nourishes us, and shares how simple, consistent choices can transform our wellbeing, our relationships, and the way we show up in the world.A reminder that your well-being is not a luxury; it is your foundation.✨ Listen now and remember: the things that truly matter are only optional until you realize they are not.:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. The Power of Self Worth
In this episode, Daniela invites you to explore the quiet, powerful space where true self-worth begins: within. So often, we move through life searching for validation, looking for proof that we belong. But what if belonging has never been something to earn… only something to remember?Drawing inspiration from Brené Brown and the teachings of Kundalini Yoga, Daniela reflects on how the voice inside our head can become our best coach, or our worst bully, and how we can consciously rebuild it to lift us up instead of tearing us down.Through the practice of Sat Nam, “my true identity”, we reconnect with our inner wholeness and remember that we are already enough, exactly as we are. This episode is a gentle reminder that self-worth is not something we find; it’s something we cultivate. One breath, one thought, one kind word at a time. 🌿If this conversation speaks to you, take it as an invitation to go deeper into your practice — to explore how Kundalini Yoga can help you rewire your inner voice and live from your truth.Because no one belongs here more than you.:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. The Wisdom You Can Only Feel
There’s a kind of wisdom that can’t be studied, read, or reasoned. It’s the wisdom that lives in your body, the quiet intelligence that has carried your entire story and still knows the way home.In this episode, Pedro explores what she calls Embodied Wisdom, the heart of Kundalini Yoga and the key to real transformation.Through the lens of Asana, Pranayama, and Mantra, she shares how each practice reveals what the mind alone can’t:how we meet life’s challenges, how we trust, and how we allow truth to move through us.You’ll hear a personal story about strength and surrender, discover why your breath mirrors the way you live, and feel how sound becomes a bridge to authenticity.Because in Kundalini Yoga, every movement, every breath, every vibration is a conversation with your soul,a reminder that the truth you’ve been searching for is already within you.✨ Listen now, and remember what your body has been trying to tell you all along.:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. The Space Between You and You
There are moments in life when you’re no longer who you were, but not yet who you’re becoming. That in-between can feel uncertain, uncomfortable… even lonely. And yet, it’s one of the most sacred spaces we’ll ever walk through. In this episode, Daniela explores the art of the pause, that space where transformation begins quietly, before it becomes visible.Through personal story, yogic wisdom, and the teachings of Kundalini Yoga, she shares how to stay open and grounded while everything inside you rearranges.Because real change doesn’t happen when we rush.It happens when we trust the process… and surrender to the space in between. 🌿:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga. Signs: When Life Speaks to You
Have you ever felt like the universe was sending you a message? An ad that appears again and again, a phrase you overhear at the perfect moment, a book that seems to fall into your hands…Are these just coincidences, or could they be signs? In this episode of The Imagine Podcast, Pedro shares a powerful story from Imagine's Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training in Zürich, where nearly 40% of students said they felt “called” by a message that kept reappearing. Listening to The Quiet That Knows
Recently, our friend and Imagine graduate Nadja Hansen shared a post that hit hard: burnout isn’t just an individual problem, it’s a growing crisis that demands attention, now. Personally, socially, urgently.By coincidence, just a day before, we were having a deep conversation with a close friend at home. A guy who, by all traditional measures, seems to have it all… but of course, there’s always a but. These two moments got us thinking and talking. So, we decided to try something new: an audio format, designed to spark real, meaningful conversations. This one is about coming back home. About being home. About the soul, our inner truth, and the journey back to ourselves.Listen... and we hope you join the conversation.:::::At Imagine Yoga Academy we help people reconnect with their essence, unlock their potential, and live with authenticity through the wisdom of Kundalini Yoga.
