Season 2 Episode 8 Tony Back MD
The JimJam travels to Seattle to interview Tony Back MD, Director of Palliative Care at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and Professor of Medicine/Oncology at the University of Washington. Tony has done some very interesting research relating to patient/physician communication, medical provider burnout and depression and the use of psilocybin in treatment. He has also used psilocybin in the treatment of depression in stage 4 cancer patients. We think you will enjoy these topics in discussion.

The Jim Jam spent some time, recently, with Jack Meteyer. Jack is 97 years old and has led an amazing life. Plucked from an orphanage at age 5 by the Meteyer family, Jack grew up in Massachusetts. He joined the army at age 18 and soon joined the Air Corp. Jack had a 30 year career in the military and then a 20 year career at Boeing. Jack shares many of is life stories with us. We hope you enjoy his journey.

Will Graham Season 2 Episode 6
The JimJam welcomes Will Graham, a resident of Olympia sine the 1973. Will has had an extraordinary life beginning with his upbringing in what was the Panama Canal Zone. Will shares his adventures in his life and what he has been doing in retirement. Specifically, Will shares his challenges stemming from the loss of his wife, Denise, in retirement, and how he navigated the changes that occur when such a life event happens. Loss of a spouse is something most of us will experience and we feel Will sharing his experience can provide insight for all of us. We are grateful for Will and his openness with his struggles and eventual happy transition to a new life.

The JimJam is honored to sit down with former Seattle Seahawk Mack Strong. Mack has been voted one of the top 50 players in Seattle Seahawk history in celebration of their 50 years as a member of the National Football League. You will hear Mack talk about growing up in Columbus, Georgia, his time at the University of Georgia, his career as a 15 year veteran of the Seattle Seahawks, and his post football life. Mack has a very rich and satisfying life and we are fortunate to be able to hear about it. Enjoy!

We are honored to spend some time with former Senator Alan Simpson on Wyoming. Senator Simpson was a member of the United States Senate from 1979 to 1997 and served as the majority whip from 1985 to 1987 and the minority whip from 1987 to 1995. When he left office, he ad his wife Ann spent 4 years in Boston where Senator Simpson was a visiting professor at Harvard and was also on the board of directors for Amgen. Senator Simpson has had quite a life as you will here in this interview. Listen for some of the historical figures he has befriended over his 93 years. We had a great time talking with Senator and Mrs Simpson.
