The Intro.
I’m Vysakh Sreenivasan. I started my startup journey around 2012. It is almost a decade now. I’ve never been in some Forbes list or some TechCrunch article. And in fact a majority of the entrepreneurs don’t. Today I do have a successful service company and also co-founded a product startup. This decade of my startup journey was not easy. It was rather messy. Almost every year I have this identity crisis, if I should have taken up a job or if I should continue this pursuit. I have quit a thousand times in my mind. I really don’t understand my irrational affinity to have a business. I just enjoy it though I suffer from it from time to time. There were months where I was working on just a product idea, after validation that it won’t work, I just discard it. There were times where I had to quit from my co-founded company. There were times where I had to buy the shares from my co-founder because we decided to shutdown the company but I wanted to continue anyway (because of my teammates). I somehow continued this startup journey. These things have not killed me so far, so here I am to narrate these tales in this podcast and future podcasts. This is a public episode.
