The Lord of the Wrongs Podcast with Zerb and Sean

We are oh-so-proud of our boys staying (more or less) on schedule releasing every other week! They do occasionally make it work. This episode they talk the second half of season two of Amazon Prime's the Lord of the Rings: the Rings of Power. All the story lines. They get talked about. Some stuff we missed. What are you gonna do, it's more than eight hours of show, we only have a couple of hours. Anyway, here it is!

The Boys are back! After a five month hiatus where Sean moved across the Mason-Dixon line and Zerb didn't do much of anything the fellas have returned to your podcast apps to react, analyze and discuss Amazon's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season two! Zerb and Sean talk the first four episodes of the newest season in anticipation for season three which we probably won't see for a few years. They praise, they bitch and moan, they make silly jokes! This is what we do, folks.

This week the boys bring you the story of everyone's favorite Dunedain Ranger, Aragorn! From Strider to Elessar, the man has A LOT of names. Zerb and Sean go over all his names, their meanings, his history, and give a few new nicknames not mentioned in the Lord of the Rings. Enjoy the silliness.

The boys fill you in on all the news related to Tolkien since the year began. It's been a little while but the fellas have returned to give you all an overview of what's new in Tolkien related television, movies, and games. Same ol' silly is back. Strap in.

The boys reflect on their first season and talk winter holidays! This sing song-y son of a bitch has been an enigma wrapped in a puzzle wrapped in a mystery wrapped in a tortilla, fried and served with a side of Goldberries. If you're confused now, just wait 'til you hear these dumb dumbs trying to make sense of the ultimate side character. Enjoy, but don't expect any satisfying answers..

Sean carries a good chunk of yet another episode as the boys delve into the many, many, many video game adaptations of the Legendarium. Zerb does his best to keep up on a topic well outside his expertise or interest but in the end, Sean Kelley is the hero this podcast needs AND deserves. And yes, the now infamous Gollum failure will be ripped apart by two guys taking everyone else's word for it.

Listen, there were only supposed to be two parts to our review of Amazon's Rings of Power and we got carried away. So, instead of saying this was part three, we're doubling down and calling this part two of part two. Get over it, guys. Geez.

In the second installment of our Rings of Chowder: Rings of Power Review series the fellas talk about absolute bangers of songs in many fantasy series, the role of friendship in Tolkien's work and it's relation to the Amazon series, and the realization that they spent too much time talking about Harfoots and have to make this a three part series. You knew it had to be coming and here it is, the LotWpod fellas give their thoughts to the... let's say controversial Amazon show based on JRR Tolkien's writings. As they say, opinions are like buttholes, everyone has them and they all stink. If you're looking for either a rabid, foaming at the mouth hate rant or a well thought out analytical discussion, you're going to be out of luck. The boys discuss what kind of band the Istari would form, what the hell the plural of "staff" really is, and Sean Demands a Recast (or in this case, a casting) for the bewildering and baffling Blue Wizards!

How big is TOO big? We're talking spiders today, pervs, shame on you. Zerb tells us what size spider is too big for comfort, Sean speculates if Shelob represents publisher deadlines, and the fellas ask the burning questions like; if spiders wore sneakers would they wear them on every leg?

Laurelin, Telperion, The White Tree of Gondor, Old Man Willow, Treebeard and the Ents. These are just most of the trees Zerb and Sean discuss in this episode! Tolkien loved himself flora of the arboreal persuasion and so do we. Enjoy as we discuss the most famous trees in Tolkien's writing and get slowly better at making a podcast.

Welcome, friends! This is the first (but not, as it turns out, last) episode of the Lord of the Wrongs Podcast! Here Sean and Zerb talk about their relationship with Tolkien, some of their favorite characters, and eventually, the goofy nonsense promised at the top of the episode.
