Awkward conversation about our breakup Connor McCaffery is a topic on national sports shows due to his expressions of disgust with his former team and people are now asking why Caitlin Clark isn't standing up for Iowa. We discuss why we have been missing and the "Lost Episode". WBBNobody goes home happy as the Huskers and Cyclones bow out in round 1 and 2 seed Iowa followed after in round 2 with a loss to 10 seed Virginia. MBBIowa State came up against the perfect gameplan with Josh Jefferson being out, created by Rick Barnes and performed by 6 seed Tennessee as they are sent home in the Sweet 16 Two teams....one dream....to only advance past round 1 of the NCAA Tournament. Little did they know they would both have the eyes of the nation on them as they both continued accomplishing what everyone said they couldn't do. Unfortunately those two teams (Iowa and Nebraska) had to meet in the Sweet 16 and SOMEONE has to lose. Congrats on making the Elite 8 Hawkeyes!! The Cyclones grit out a season of ups and downs but can move themselves up in NCAA Tourney seeding with a strong performance in KC.
