The Matt Chat

I went and sat down with my dear friend Elijah, and what a time we had! I was so looking forward to this episode as we discussed anime, our differing greek life experiences at different schools, and a whole lot about comics! Elijah is truly unique and we shared so many laughs this episode that I might have to book a second one!

A special treat on the weekend of the RIT Phi Delt 40th reunion, we got Ezra! What did we talk about?? The list of what we didn't talk about would be shorter! I knew when I asked him to do the show, it would be wildly entertaining! Frankly I am at a loss, just give it a listen because this episode truly was a blast to record from a very special place!

TOO MANY TIMES have we been asked "Why did you vacation in Ohio?", "How do you have SO MANY stories from Ohio?", "How did you have that much fun in Ohio?"NO MORE SHALL WE BE ASKED! The James family sat down and broke down every day in Ohio for the 2 year anniversary of the famous trip. Lacrosse game breakdowns, Yankees game breakdowns, ping pong breakdowns, and GOLF SLANDER! This special episode is one for the books.

We sat down for the SECOND podcast episode from Nashville with Phil! From NCCA 25 and 26, to concerts, to kickball, to Nashville! We covered so many bases in such a short time, and it was a real pleasure to share some laughs, and learn why Line Dancing sucks!

When in Nashville, naturally I said down with the king of the city, Dr. Jeremy to reminisce on some good times. Sure we were both absolutely hammered, but we covered why you should NOT hit on Jeremy in a men's bathroom, our founding of Phi Delta Theta, and honestly, I forget what else we discussed. This will be a pleasant surprise for all to listen to, all I know is the trip is ALWAYS worth it, and there is nobody I would rather kick season 2 off with!

Season 1 has come to an end and I sat down with none other than my mother! We reminisced each episode, shared some memories with previous guests (some mores than others) but we had some great laughs, shared some insights about friends that have grown up, and really had a great mother-son talk. This was a great episode with a Day One supporter, and thank you to all that have joined the Matt Chat!

Buckle up for award winning yapping about concerts, in depth and chaotic discussions about Pokemon, some high school reflections, and some truly great laughs with a one of a kind friend!

We went live from White Plains for 3 HOURS with Brian! Are we sorry for the length? NO! Brian has a Masters in Yapology and we discuss how 4 months of friendship blossomed into 10+ years of friendship. Prius talk, mens fashion insight, Hoj Slander that be might remember, this time, and just a great time with a bottle of Dominican rum that we could NOT open. A true pleasure to record, and stick with us through all 180 minutes!

We went live with Joe for Episode 8! From discussing foreign lands, to the state of rangers hockey, to weddings, to beating Hoj mercilessly about his golf game, the laughs didn't stop and the knowledge kept flowing! This episode was an absolute blast and even has some tie ins to previous guests!

We have got Episode 7 and went live with Hoj! All I can say is HOLY YAP! A bottle of wine and a whole lot of beers has fueled a conversation full of tier lists, Bullying Ian, Talks of golf and Notre Dame cowardice, and laughs and FRIGID COLD TAKES! What a blast of a time, and what a pleasure Hoj has been!

We have got Episode 6 and went live with Anna from her condo in the local dump of Philly! Talking about how I am unapproachable at work, being so tired as a collective we forget what we are talking about, and catching up for the first time in a while! Just rambling for the sake of rambling and I had a blast!

We have got Episode 5 and went live with Ian from his basement bar "The Fishing Den"! From learning more about lacrosse, to reminiscing on Ian's wedding and the origins of the James family, this was truly a pleasure to have a nice conversation with Ian over some bourbon! (Watch out Hoj, now everyone knows you will never touch a Pokemon card)

We have got Episode 4 and went live with Austin! This episode has us eating the Costco menu and discussing bowel movements, reminiscing on concert happenings, and getting sad about SU Sports (among other things). Lots of laughs and indigestion reside in this week's installment!

We have got Episode 3 and went live with Marshall! After nearly 20 years it is hard to truly trim down what a friendship means, but we sure tried our best! From the young days in elementary school, to the degenerate days in college, we have been through a lot. Some laughs were shared, some deep thoughts were shared, but a great time was had!

We have got Episode 2 and went live with Jacob! Jacob is a coworker-turned-friend that I have shared many golf outings, movie viewings, and soft spoken conversations (That a very new microphone picked up!) It was a great time to catch up, and not a dull moment!

We have got Episode 1 and we have got Mike live on the mic! Mike is one of my closest friends and we revisit how we first met, where we have gone from there and what we have done, and VERY quickly devolve to our old antics of just rambling.It is explicit, it is chaos, it is EXACTLY what our friendship has been based on for years!(The audio is a little off... consider it a dry run and building block!)
