We are an independent charity with a wide outreach programme across Hounslow and beyond too, reaching tens of thousands of people who would otherwise enjoy little or no arts provision, and working with them to build community through the arts.Our Brentford venue houses an independent cinema, 250-seat theatre, contemporary art gallery and creative spaces for the community.     Episode 5: Dogs Don't Do Ballet and Kinoteka 2024's Scarborn (Kos)

    Children’s theatre programmer, Hakan Silahsizoglu, catches up with David Duffy and Andrea Sadler who have adapted Dogs Don’t Do Ballet from the book by Anna Kemp with illustrations by Sara Ogilvie. The show is presented at Watermans by Little Angel Theatre,Our cinema programmer, John Morgan-Tamosunas, talks to Festival Director, Marlena Lukasiak about this year’s Polish film festival, Kinoteka 2024. Watermans will be showing one of the most commercially and artistically successful films from Poland in recent years, Scarborn (Kos), directed by PAWEL MAŚLONA as part our our Kino! Polish film and talk season on Sunday 24 March

    In this episode, Watermans' Head of Children's Theatre, Hakan Silahsizoglu interviews Mark Pitman and Iklooshar Malara from Garlic Theatre, ahead of their visit to Watermans, 12 - 16 February 2024 when they will be presenting  Snug & Grub Catch a Bug!Plus, John Morgan-Tamosunas, Watermans cinema programmer gives his verdict on the nominations for the upcoming BAFTAs and Academy Awards.

    The Mix looks towards Sunday 21 January 2024, highlighting the latest Family Folk Show by Megson in a conversation with Stu Hannah one half of this talented and hard-working folk duo and then followed up with Michael Brooke's interview with Polish based film director, Magnus von Horn, whose 2021 film Sweat is being shown as part of Kino! Waterman's Polish Film and Talk season.
