K-5 comprehensive sex education (i.e. gender ideology, abortion, and performing sex acts) is mandatory in many school districts across the nation. Deer Valley USD residents voted to approve a 15% override that funded an anti-law enforcement protest during educational hours. Meanwhile the district continues to host School Letter Grade parades at the beginning of every board meeting. A leadership change is absolutely necessary this November. All K-12 funding sources deserve a deep dive. We barely scratched the surface discussing the sources that impact everyday citizens in a real way. Bonds and overrides have kept government schools afloat for decades. If it’s on the ballot, administrators and board members expect taxpayers to comply without scrutiny or question.
