The Name-Drop Podcast: Episode One: Dry Run
Well, here we are...Episode 1 of The Name-Drop Podcast: "Dry Run" We're calling it that because it's unscripted and unplanned...and I'll admit, I was purposefully unprepared and leaned on my ability to come up with stuff off the top of my head. In this episode, Alan and Lewis with Brian, (our back seat camera man), set out to locations in the San Francisco Bay Area where we went Kerplunk smack dab into into the middle of the San Francisco Bay, (on Treasure Island with a few Yuppies and Wimps), where they encountered a man called Mason who works at Gold Bar Whiskey located inside the Administration Building, <--(Dated picture, there...). It was fortuitous, us running into Mason because he's actually had some celebrity experiences he agreed to share with us! Look forward to more "Man on the Street" interview segments in future episodes! Fun Facts about Treasure Island: The Administration Building (Building 1) was featured as the "Berlin Airport" in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. "No TICKET!" While built to be an airport, the Navy exchanged Mills Field (now San Francisco International Airport) for the island. If you you've ever met someone famous and have a story about it, we want to hear your stories of fame, so send us your stories of fame to [email protected] (Just trying to make it easy for you to remember, there) If we like what you had to say, we'll contact you to arrange getting you on the show! If you're in the San Francisco Bay Area, even better! You'll get to join us on camera to share your story first hand! If not, we'll work something out, after all, this is the Silicon Valley.ENJOY!

The Name-Drop Podcast - PROMO
Well, here we are. Our first moving pictures on YouTube! If you're listening to this, just imagine two slick 39 year olds as smooth as they come and if you're watching us on YouTube, sshhh....nobody's gonna' know. Before saying anything, I'll hit you with a 2X4 by saying this If you've ever met a famous person, tell us about it in an email to: [email protected] Please keep it short and direct and should we invite you on as a guest, you can go into detail, then right here on the podcast! We prefer to hear about a genuine experience, not an autograph signing. Good Examples include: 1.) You sat next to them on a plane and had a good conversation 2.) They stepped onto your elevator and also had a nice conversation Bad Examples include: 1.) You met in a bar and got into a political argument that evolved into time spent behind bars....actually, that might be fun to hear, but..... 2.) You ran them over with your electric bike Basically....Use discresion - we like to hear about the cool stories that build them up as awesome people...unless you ran into Andy Dick. Down to the nitty gritty - It's often said that everyone is separated by six degrees of separation and in some instances that distance can be a lot shorter. Cohosts Lewis Nowosad and Allan Oller both played in a rock band together and while they didn't actually get famous, (despite their individual brushes with fame), they're cutting through that fame to get to the real stories.
