Episode 001: Relationships Lead the Way with Head Baseball Coach Chad Lipscomb

In the first-ever episode of the OCR Lounge we talk with MRA Head Baseball Coach, Chad Lipscomb. He has had stops at Trinity Episcopal, ACCS, and Manchester before arriving to MRA 16 years ago. Here are some takeaways I took from our conversation: Be a goals driven person - NOT numbers. Two Keys to being a great leader: 1. Be a great listener to your players, parents, and fans. 2. Be open and honest on the front end. You have to be willing to change with the times and make it enjoyable. Know what sets yourself apart - don't strive to catch someone else, be the best version of who God created you to be. Learn valuable leadership lessons from Coach Lipscomb! Discover how listening and honesty have shaped his coaching style. What does success look like in his baseball program? Discover what true success means in to him for high school baseball Coach Chad Lip shares his unique perspective on achieving greatness beyond statistics. Discover what it means to leave a lasting legacy in sports. Coach Lipscomb shares his vision of impacting lives beyond wins and championships. This inspiring end of the podcast is perfect for coaches and mentors.
