Kislev and Developing a Supernatural Worldview
Happy Kislev! Kislev, the ninth Hebrew month, is traditionally known as the "month of dreams." It's biblically associated with supernatural activity including prophetic dreams, messianic prophecies, angelic visitations, and spiritual warfare. Throughout Season 2, we'll talk about how to form a biblically grounded supernatural worldview. In this episode, I discuss the supernatural beings that show up in Genesis 3, inspired by a work of art, 'Virgin Mary Consoles Eve" (crayon and pencil by Sr. Grace Remington, OCSO, copyright 2005, Sisters of the Mississippi Abbey), depicting the fulfillment of the Genesis 3:15 seed prophecy.

Join me for a conversation about why "deep calls to deep" and how you can pursue an encounter with the transcendent in your everyday life.

Why Education Matters: Extrinsic or Intrinsic?
Why should we instill a passion for learning in our children? Well, it's a bit more involved than "so they can pass the class so they can graduate so they can get a degree so they can get a job." In fact, it's none of that. Join me for a discussion of value and values as I unpack why books, reading, college education, and the humanities actually matter for us as human beings and servants of the Creator.
