The sportscar silly season started really early this year. Alpine and Acura are out, all of Porsche might be leaving for other teams, Nyck DeVries is definitely going to McLaren. Oh and Chili’s won NASCAR.

Nicole went to the Long Beach GP for IMSA and IndyCar and came back with a sunburn, a lot of stories, and a champagne soaked podium hat from Kévin Estre. 

Sportscar season really is back in full swing, so the topics range from Long Beach, to Carrera Cup France, to ELMS, to NLS, to GTWC (Europe and Asia), and even Le Mans. But you should probably expect that from us by this point.

We have Porsche and Lamborghini driver Zachary Vanier on the show. He brings us through his journey from racing snowcross to racing in the IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship and GT World Challenge America. And yes, once again we ask THAT question.

Antares Au, the Piekeeper. You probably know him as a superb bronze rated Porsche driver, and now he’s also tackling WEC with Garage 59 McLaren. We go through his journey in motorsport, racing at Le Mans, and future plans. Yes, we also asked him “that question.” And, a pleasant surprise, he says WECK not W-E-C!

There were a bunch of sportscar, er, Indycar drivers racing in St Pete this past weekend and Auston was there to see them. A full recap of his race weekend, plus a new bike instructor, and a very exciting Porsche lineup. We also dive into the issues with the WEC season opener in Qatar.

The wait is finally over, it’s Daytona week. Nicole and Auston are headed there and the question of the weekend is “Will Nicole remember she likes Car # 7 too?” Ford announced a bunch of lineups and some fun new liveries, Haas is kind of Toyota, maybe?

The Autosport top 50 was absolute robbery. Matt Campbell and Laurens Vanthoor were the biggest victims. But, shockingly, Nicole had a passionate defense of all 9 Ferrari Hypercar drivers. We have opinions about pretty much everyone on the list. Let us know if you agree!

Some of us (Ares) won big, and some of us (Auston and Nicole) lost a lot. It was Kévin Estre’s last race in WEC with PPM, so of course we spent a long time talking about Dylan Estre’s winning weekend in the Ultimate Cup Series, because this weekend he was the superior brother on results. Nicole and Auston took some time to reflect on the three year journey with PPM, and what’s next.

It’s time to say goodbye to Porsche Penske Motorsport in WEC, which we actually barely talk about, so don’t worry it’s not a funeral episode! We go “Inside the Vanthoors” but it’s just the film review. Did the spectacle win or lose in NASCAR? And Nicole has a movie she really wants everyone to watch.

There isn’t much going on for a while, if you ignore NASCAR and F1. But luckily Nicole went to the USGP at COTA so we have some F1 stuff to talk about. Obviously it gets derailed into talking about sportscars a bunch too.

Porsche Penske Motorsport swept the IMSA GTP titles. We were at the race and actually got to celebrate with the team so it almost felt like we were part of it. We interviewed Mathieu Jaminet, Tom Blomqvist, and Nick Tandy (and had a defintitely not an interview recorded chat with Matt Campbell).

Zebras do in fact have legs, and we are bringing one to Petit.  Kévin Estre’s name is finally spelled correctly on our merch, and the series is finally correct on his merch. We have reasons for not wanting him (or Matt Campbell) to go to McLaren, partially orange based. Though there might be hidden signs he’s going anyway.

The WEC race in Fuji had us on the edge of our seats… all for different reasons. Japan brought out the crazy side of the PPM boys on Instagram. Laurens Vanthoor is anti-French, but Kévin Estre is very French. (Look Kévin, we did it right!) The 35 Alpine won the race, still not sure how. More Porsche rumors, Max Verstappen is a sportscar driver, and Indycar has a schedule.

A guide for David Malukas fans who aren't entirely comfortable with being a Penske fan, because, well, we've been there. "Silly Season" in the World Endurance Championship is in full swing, and we have a lot of ideas, even if we don't agree with each other on them. And the IMSA Battle On The Bricks just left everyone feeling...confused?

WEC Full Access for Le Mans came out, so we had to do a film review, which resulted in Dylan Estre gaining a fan. Nicole accidentally relived Petit 2024 again. People take F1 Podiums way too seriously. Our take on Josef Newgarden not talking to the media. And Neom McLaren is dead dead.

Another 24 hour race in June and another Porsche taking home second place overall. What WEC drivers are willing to "Ride the Dente" with us at COTA in September? IndyCar social media stole our friends' content. And a whole lot of lubrication talk, because we always want to know the lubrication.

It was a busy weekend of racecars! Nicole went to Road America, won a Kyffin Simpson wing and a Jack Hawksworth race suit. Interviews with Will Buxton, Kyffin Simpson, and Callum Ilott. The Nurburgring 24 Hours and Watkins Glen 6 hours happened, with results that have us feeling multiple different ways. And everyone is excited about Dale Jr's first win as a crew chief.

Whether you are a Ferrari fan like Ares, and your car won the race, or a Porsche fan like Nicole and Auston, and your car did a heroic last place to second place run, the 24 Hours of Le Mans left a lot of people with something to be proud of. Also, Nurburgring 24 Hours preview, Kyle Kirkwood's first Indycar oval win, NASCAR in Mexico, and social media and broadcast controversy.
