There are three calcaneal fracture classifications. Essex-Lopresti, Rowe, and Sanders. Essex-Lopresti and Sanders information are from McGlamry's 5th edition. There is less literature for Rowe classification, the source in this episode is unknown. Practice Questions: Essex-Lopresti has described two distinct fracture types of the calcaneus based on the primary or secondary fracture line? What Rowe classification is a beak fracture?
