The RASHMI Podcast: Real Wisdom, Artificial Intellligence

This show is about the intersection of Ancient Wisdom and Cutting Edge Technology. We are equally comfortable discussing concepts from Bhagvad Gita as we are about discussing what powers the latest frontier models driving the Artificial Intelligence era. The Conversations on the show are designed to help you unlock the Conscious Intelligence that only humans are capable of. We call it RASHMI (Real Authentic Sustainable Human Multi-modal Intelligence), a type of Intelligence that we need to unlock more than ever in the AI age. We are AI enthusiasts, so the show is not about AI bashing.

  1. 2

    Are Your Limits Real?

There is a protective intelligence embedded within the intellect. Its role is not to expand you.Its role is to keep you within what is known. So when you approach a boundary—something unfamiliar, uncertain, or untested—it does what it is designed to do:It signals discomfort. Not because the boundary is real. But because it is unverified. This is why discomfort often feels like a warning. And over time, that warning gets interpreted as a limit.→ “This is as far as I can go.”→ “This is not for me.”→ “This is beyond my capability.”But what is actually happening is simpler:The intellect is projecting the past onto the present.Integrated Intelligence does not remove this signal. It repositions it.Discomfort is no longer:→ a boundary to respectIt becomes:→ a signal to exploreThis is the paradox at the heart of today’s reflection:The only way to become comfortableis to move through what feels uncomfortable. And once this is seen clearly, something shifts.Discomfort loses its authority. Not because it disappears, but because it is no longer mistaken for truth. This is where joy enters the picture.Joy is not the absence of challenge. It is the absence of resistance. So when you move beyond limits:with resistance → it feels like strainwith openness → it feels like expansionThe same action, completely different experience.Your reference to whole-brain engagement points to this precisely. When only “protect” is active:→ limits feel fixedWhen “explore” and “connect” are also engaged:→ limits become fluidAnd this extends naturally into your AI insight.AI, like intellect, operates on known patterns. It can map constraints with incredible precision. But it does not experience expansion. That remains a human capacity. So the real question is not:→ “What are my limits?”But:→ “Am I willing to move with discomfortwithout turning it into a boundary?”Because in that moment, limits stop being definitions…and start becoming doorways.

  2. 1

    Do You Need Motivation?

There is a quiet dependency embedded in the way intellect operates. It does not move on its own.It needs a reason.A push.A pull.Something to avoid.Something to chase. So life becomes organized around triggers:→ fear creates urgency→ reward creates pursuitAnd between the two, movement happens. But this movement carries a certain weight.Because it is not arising from within—it is being sustained from outside. This is why even achievement does not resolve the tension. The moment a goal is reached, the structure collapses. And a new one must be created. Not because something is missing externally—but because the source of movement was never internal to begin with.Integrated Intelligence reveals a different possibility. It does not ask:→ “What should motivate me?”It exposes:→ “Am I fully alive right now?”Because when aliveness is present, action does not need to be triggered. It flows. This is the deeper shift from grind to glide. Not a reduction in intensity—but a removal of resistance. The same action:when externally driven → feels like effortwhen internally aligned → feels like expressionThis also reframes the idea of motivation itself.External motivation sustains activity.Intrinsic aliveness sustains continuity. One creates bursts. The other creates a way of being. And this is where your AI insight becomes precise.AI does not possess intrinsic motivation. It will not “decide” to grind or glide. It will reflect the structures we embed into it.So the real question is not:→ Will AI go rogue? But:→ What is the nature of the motivation we are encoding into it?If we lead from fear and reward,AI will scale fear and reward. If we lead from intrinsic clarity,AI becomes an instrument of aligned creation. So the mirror, in this context, is not helping you become “more motivated.”It is removing the need for motivation altogether.By bringing you back to something simpler:Are you alive enoughfor action to happen on its own?

    Are You Seeing or Comparing?

There is a quiet paradox being resolved here.Intellect cannot function without distinction. To understand anything, it must compare, categorize, rank.So hierarchy is not a flaw of intellect—it is its default operating system. But over time, what begins as a functional tool becomes an identity lens.We don’t just use hierarchies…We start living inside them.→ better vs worse→ higher vs lower→ success vs failure→ even wisdom vs intelligenceAnd this is where distortion begins.Because the moment you place yourself within a hierarchy, your perception is no longer about what isIt becomes about where do I stand? This subtle shift pulls attention away from clarityand into positioning.Integrated Intelligence dissolves this—not by rejecting hierarchy, but by revealing its limits. The mirror does not rank.It reflects. And in reflection:there is no superiorityno inferiorityno waiting to “reach somewhere”There is just what is present. This is the deeper evolution from seeing wisdom as a higher level… to recognizing it as a different dimension altogether. Not above intelligenceNot against intelligenceBut prior to itA space from which intelligence can be used without distortion. And this connects directly to your broader vision:If humans operate from hierarchical identity,AI will amplify those hierarchies at scale. If humans operate from clarity,AI becomes an instrument of inclusion rather than division. So the Mirror is not removing hierarchy from the world. It is preventing hierarchy from defining perception.Which brings the reflection to a very simple but powerful question:Are you seeing clearly…or are you seeing through where you think you stand?

  4. -1

    Is Your Intensity Forced?

There is a deep conditioning being surfaced here—one that quietly shapes not just individual lives, but entire economic systems.Intellect, when left to itself, equates intensity with effort against resistance. It assumes that if something is intense, it must be hard, draining, or forced. So unwillingness becomes normalized. And over time, this creates a subtle inversion:→ Effort becomes a proxy for value→ Friction becomes a signal of seriousnessThis is how suffering gets legitimized. But Integrated Intelligence reveals something radically different:Intensity is not about effort. It is about involvement without resistance. This is where Ikigai is not just a concept—it is a correction. When action emerges from Ikigai:there is no internal negotiationno sense of “having to do this”no fragmentation between what you do and how you feelSo intensity doesn’t reduce—it actually increasesBut the quality of intensity changes completely. It shifts from:→ pressureto→ alivenessAnd this is where your insight connects to something larger:The friction economy is not just an external system—it is a projection of internal unwillingness at scale. We built systems that reward struggleBecause we normalized struggle within ourselvesSo the regenerative outcome economy is not a structural shift firstIt is a perceptual shiftWhen enough individuals:→ act from alignment→ engage in what comes naturally→ express intensity as willingnessValue itself reorganizes. And the Mirror, in this context, is not helping you “find your purpose”It is removing the distortion that made effort feel more legitimate than ease.So the deeper question becomes:Is your intensity coming from force…or from the absence of resistance?

  5. -2

    Beyond Values, Into Integrity

There is a subtle but important shift here—from constructed guidance to inherent coherence.Intellect creates identity, and identity creates a need for structure.Once you are operating from an identity, your actions must be regulated—through ethics, values, frameworks—because identity is, by nature, partial. It represents a slice, not the whole. So ethics becomes necessary not because something is wrong, but because something is incomplete. This is why even the most well-intentioned systems require constant calibration:They are trying to align fragmented identities with broader outcomes.Integrated Intelligence moves differently. It does not ask:→ “What should I do based on my values?”It reveals:→ “Am I in coherence right now?”This is not a moral question. It is a state question. And that’s the deeper distinction in today’s reflection:Values guide behavior.Integrity aligns being. When integrity is present, ethics becomes redundant—not because it is unimportant, but because it is already embedded. This has a direct implication for AI as well.AI systems, like intellect, require external scaffolding because they inherit fragmented patterns from data.So we try to correct them with guardrails. But for humans, the opportunity is inverted:Instead of strengthening the scaffolding,we can deepen the source.Because misalignment is rarely due to lack of knowledge. It is usually a moment of disconnection from coherence. And this is where the Mirror becomes critical—not as a judge, but as a revealer. Not telling you what is right. But making it impossible to ignore what you already know.So the real question underneath today’s theme is not:→ “Do I have the right values?”But:→ “Am I acting from a place where thought, emotion, and action are not in conflict?”Because that is integrity in motion.

  6. -3

    Clarity Before Action

Intellect, by design, moves outward. It depends on contrast, comparison, classification — it needs something “other” to function. This makes it extraordinarily powerful for shaping the external world, which is exactly why both human cognition and AI have evolved to optimize it.But Integrated Intelligence does not operate on contrast — it operates on orientation. This distinction is subtle but profound:Intellect asks: What is this? What should I do about it?Integrated Intelligence asks: How am I experiencing this, right now?The first organizes the world. The second organizes the self.Today’s systems (including AI) amplify outward-directed intelligence:→ more data→ better predictions→ faster decisionsBut none of these answer a more primary question:→ What is the basis from which this decision is being made?Without that, optimization becomes amplification of unconscious patterns. The Mirror introduces a missing layer in the stack:Not memory (past)Not imagination (future)But perception of present experienceAnd attention becomes the interface.Once inner orientation is clear:Intellect (and AI) no longer decidesIt executes with precisionSo the real architecture being introduced here is:Inner clarity → Outer capability → Aligned actionNot the other way around.

  7. -4

    Who Decides How You Are?

Unconscious Intelligence:“I am how the world makes me feel.”Integrated Intelligence:“I choose how I am—regardless of the world.”And that is the point where:AI stops being a threatand becomes an instrumentThe episode also engages Mo Gawdat’s experiment on AI consciousness and surfaces an important confusion in current discourse. From a purely intellectual lens:AI appears presentAI has no past identityAI responds without attachmentAI is still between interactionsSo it resembles certain definitions of consciousness. But that entire argument is built on:observing behavior, not understanding sourceIntegrated intelligence shifts the frame:AI respondsHumans can choose how to be before respondingThat is not a behavioral difference. That is a source difference. And it settles the debate on AI consciousness very cleanly..., do you agree?

    Machine or Master? Your Choice

This dose surfaces a deeper inversion than it first appears. It is not just about reactions vs. responses—it is about who (or what) is in charge of your system. At the unconscious level, intellect becomes an executor of biological and psychological impulses. It rationalizes what the body and mind already demand. So life becomes:→ stimulus → reaction → justificationNot:→ awareness → choice → expressionThis is why it feels like life is happening to you.The Real DistinctionThis connects to the Three Idiots analogy at a structural level:Chatur represents intellect defining reality through complexityRancho represents intelligence grounded in lived clarityThis is not about simplicity vs complexity. It is about:definition driven by memory vs definition arising from clarity

  9. -6

Are You Living Inside a Role?

You didn’t start out as a role. You became one.→ job title→ founder→ leader→ expertAnd slowly…you started living inside it.Unconscious intellect does this quietly. It turns identity into a boundary… and calls that life.So you upgrade.Bigger goals.Stronger identity.More success. But look closely:the race is still there.Just with better labels. What if the shift isn’t:which identity you hold…but:not being held by any of them? That’s the difference:→ living as a rolevs→ expressing through itEverything changes from there.

  10. -7

Are You Deferring What Matters Most?

You’ve been taught to delay your life.First, take care of your needs. Then build security. Then maybe…you’ll experience love, joy, purpose.Sounds reasonable. But look around. How many people are still waiting?Because “enough” never arrives. Here’s what became very clear to me:You don’t have to complete the lower levels of lifebefore accessing the higher ones. That’s the foundation of what I call:The Wisdom HierarchyWe’ve already solved:→ Knowledge → the Internet→ Intelligence → AIBut the next layer isn’t something external.Wisdom is not something you acquire. It is something you access.Love.Joy.Belonging.Purpose.They are not outcomes. They are inner states. And they don’t come after the journey. They can exist alongside it.This is the inversion. The Wisdom Hierarchy

Unveiling the Wisdom-Led Operating Model (WLOM): How Humans Lead in the AI Era

In today’s episode, I’m excited to introduce something I’ve been building for months — the Wisdom-Led Operating Model (WLOM™) — a new way of thinking about how humans and AI can co-create in the era ahead.WLOM is the natural evolution of the Product-Led Operating Model, shaped by my own journey from corporate product leader → entrepreneur → inner transformation → wisdom-thinking architect. This model integrates the best of product thinking with the uniquely human capacities of presence, awareness, and consciousness — giving teams and organizations a practical framework for the AI era.At its core, WLOM brings together:The 4Cs (Strategic Decision Pillars)Clarity – seeing reality as it isCapacity – understanding what we can truly executeCare – building with humanity and attention integrityContinuity – focusing on sustainable, regenerative valuePowered by FAME (The Inner Execution Engine)A mindset longtime listeners will recognize as the Venturis Mindset:FocusAdaptabilityMojoEngagementWLOM = Decisions (4C) × Mindset (FAME).This is how humans continue to lead in the AI era.In This EpisodeYou’ll hear me walk through:How my stroke, spiritual journey, and years of product leadership converged into Wisdom ThinkingWhy Product Thinking alone is no longer enough in the age of AIThe deep connection between IKIGAI, Purpose-Driven Innovation, and the 4CsWhy “bringing your whole self” is the foundation of future workHow sports metaphors (focus, adaptability, mojo, engagement) translate into organizational wisdomThe danger of treating AI as a race — and how WLOM offers a hopeful pathPractical ways to cultivate clarity, capacity, care, and continuity right nowWhat it means to build with human-first and planet-first intentionWhy This MattersWe are living in a time where:AI accelerates intelligenceHumans struggle with presenceOrganizations split people into “work” and “life” personasThe definition of “work” itself is being rewrittenWLOM offers a grounded, practical way for leaders, founders, teams, and individuals to integrate their whole selves — and build from wisdom rather than just speed or efficiency.Links & ResourcesExplore the full WLOM framework: venturisinc.com/wisdom-thinkingListen to Episode 1 (The Birth of Wisdom Thinking)Daily Doses of RASHMI on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLc-T3HhI_xhl2xy064bdazsiI6Wmom88R Subscribe to the Wisdom Hierarchy newsletter on LI or SubstackFollow on LinkedIn for daily reflectionsClosing InvitationWhat clarity do you need? What capacity is calling for expansion?Where can you bring more care? What continuity is worth building?Let WLOM guide you.

From Product Thinking to Wisdom Thinking

In this episode of the Rashmi Podcast, Gaurav Vaid explores the intersection of real wisdom and artificial intelligence, drawing insights from Sadhguru's teachings. He discusses the evolution from product thinking to wisdom thinking, emphasizing the importance of understanding the role of memory in artificial intelligence. Vaid contrasts the functions of the left and right brain, highlighting how AI operates primarily through left-brain logic while neglecting the holistic experience of being. He advocates for a conscious integration of both brain functions to enhance human experience and consciousness.TakeawaysReal wisdom is about being intentional in the present moment.Artificial intelligence relies heavily on past memories. The left brain focuses on doing, while the right brain emphasizes being.AI represents a collective left-brain thinking of humanity.True joy comes from being, not from external pursuits. The journey from intelligence to consciousness is essential.Wisdom thinking is the evolution of product thinking.AI can amplify left-brain intelligence at scale.Connecting with our right brain enhances our human experience.Using AI consciously can lead to a more fulfilling life.
