On episode 14, an episode in the SMASH CUT series, I’m reviewing 2024’s “TWISTERS”. The film follows Kate Carter, a meteorologist and former storm chaser dealing with past trauma. Reunited with her colleague Javi, she accepts a trial position to test a new tornado radar system after a recent devastating tornado. Traveling to Oklahoma for research, they encounter popular YouTube storm chaser Tyler Owens, the “tornado wrangler”. As both teams prepare for an impending tornado outbreak, they confront the terrifying reality of destructive storm cells, leading to a dramatic fight for survival.

Introducing an extension of “The Reaction Shot Podcast” with a series of episodes titled SMASH CUT. I’ll feature smash cut episodes randomly between my regular POV episodes. They will feature a quick review of a film I recently watched consisting purely of MY reaction. First up is M. Night Shyamalan’s psychological crime thriller, “TRAP”.
