The RESET Podcast

Researcher at the University of Michigan School of Public Health with Michigan Media have created a six-part podcast series on to promote healthy living for older African Americans in metro Detroit. Each episode features conversations with an expert in an aspect of healthfulness and with a community member working to improve their own health. In essence, listeners are invited to reset their behaviors toward healthful living with actions that are achievable in their daily lives. Comments received from Detroit seniors on the community advisory board about the podcast have been very positive: "I felt like they were talking to me." "Narrator is relatable, varied voices, various types of exercise explained. Narrator and interviewees are believable, encouraging and inspiring."
