What a semester! Season 3 flew by and is already at an end. Now that we have our green screen back (it's a long story, just watch...) we celebrate by taking a look at our amazing staff and see what the school's favorite season 3 moments were in a new edition of BORO Banter. Included among other things are Socktober recaps, information about the cheer team here at SHS, some fun "commercials," as well as some info about the upcoming THRIVE Holiday Spectacular production!

In this year's first Christmas special, we take a look at the upcoming wrestling season, learn what really motivates students and teachers, learn about AC4P and the radio station's history! And so much more! Did we mention that someone green and furry makes an appearance?

In this week's Veterans Day special, we first listen to a beautiful rendition of the national anthem along with Streetsboro residents and family members who have served or are serving in the military, then Hunter Hopperton gives us a rundown on what Veterans Day is and what being in the military is like. Thank you all veterans for your service! Next up, a new BORO Banter, where we see if anyone knows what Beta Club is (spoiler: they don't, and it's pretty funny...). Correspondent Miranda Geek explains the history of Beta Club for us. Then, we take a look at THRIVE's most recent halloween show and sit down with senior lead guitarist Joey Jablonsky. Our feature artists this week are the 3rd and 6th period stage production classes, who have been hard at work on set and lighting design for the upcoming Christmas show. To end off, we recap the end of football's season and introduce our new "History of 88.9 WSTB" segment and brand-new podcast!

For our second halloween special (and our longest episode to date), we will explore the ups and downs of this year's fall sports seasons and honor our outstanding senior athletes. Then, a "Where are They Now?" with Carter Giacomo and Donovan Washington. Also featuring a new BORO Banter segment, "The Weather" with Bob Long, featured SFX makeup artist Brittany Bader, and halloween activities and locations from Rocket Report correspondent, Miranda Gerk. Watch out for an interruption from our very own Hunter Hopperton!

Later, a sit-down with Streetsboro's new band director, Brett Dawson. Also included are weekly sports recaps and a segment on Streetsboro City School's district wide food drive!

In this episode, we'll catch up with THRIVE Visual and Performing Art's recent accomplishments and plans for the future, learn more about the new SHS Theater program, and sit down with Streetsboro's varsity quarterback, Maysun Klimak.
