UConn Revisited
In this episode, we revisit the University of Connecticut and present new evidence that shows the University was aware that former Fine Arts professor Frank Noelker was a sexual predator well before the 2018 investigation by the Office of Institutional Equity. We also connect a key UConn official, whose inaction following the 2003 allegations against Noelker allowed the abuse to continue for almost two decades, to another high-profile sexual misconduct case that once again showed UConn officials ignoring allegations of abuse.

A Convicted Pedophile on Campus
In this episode, we look into a case involving a research specialist for UC Berkeley who sexually harassed a student while on a research trip. The twist is that decades before this complaint, the perpetrator in this case was convicted of raping a 14-year-old boy while he was an employee at UC Berkeley. Despite being arrested, convicted and registered as a sex offender, he was able to maintain his employment at UC Berkeley, and his access to students, leading to this case.Music:Intro: Track: "Wallflower", ShryneMusic provided by https://Slip.streamFree Download/Stream: https://get.slip.stream/zaUjHPOutro: Track: "ATHENA", Casey OrangeMusic provided by https://Slip.streamFree Download/Stream: https://get.slip.stream/VevJpv

Pastor Pete the Predator
This week, the tea is steeping in holy water as we take a look at Peter Collins, an Information Systems Analyst working for the University of California Berkeley who used his status as an elder in a prayer group to manipulate, control and make unwelcome sexual contact with another UCB employee. Collins apparently told people in the group that he was a prophet and convinced the survivor in this case that he was her “spiritual father” and that she needed to obey him or she would be betraying God.

Behind Closed Doors
In the aftermath of the Theater Department Scandal, CCSU President Zulma Toro stated that the university “will not tolerate sexual misconduct or abusive behavior of any kind” and there's a “zero-tolerance policy” for such behaviors. But what if you're an athlete who beats up his ex-girlfriend? Turns out there's quite a lot of tolerance for that. In this episode, we examine how the university handles cases of abuse when no one is looking.Music:Intro: Track: "Wallflower", ShryneMusic provided by https://Slip.stream Free Download/Stream: https://get.slip.stream/zaUjHPOutro: Track: "ATHENA", Casey OrangeMusic provided by https://Slip.stream Free Download/Stream: https://get.slip.stream/VevJpv

Theater Department Scandal
In this case from 2018, an investigation by a student journalist uncovered decades of misconduct by a professor at Central Connecticut State University. As we've seen before, the misconduct was known by administrators for years, yet they did nothing to stop it. When the school newspaper broke the story, an investigation was launched by CCSU and found that a toxic culture of sexual misconduct permeated the Theater Department and implicated other professors, leading to big changes at the University.
