Myanmar is a state currently characterized by its political volatility, owing to coup d'états and infamous human rights violations. However, through this episode we explore a history of Myanmar that looks not only at its politics, but also its culture, history and economy – to in search of an endlessly fascinating culture. This is the first episode in a series of 11, where we dive deep into the cultures of each South East Asian nation, as a crash course into the region's lived experience.
