The Social Contract - Pet Peeves & More
by Mark Jordan
The Social Contract is here to connect the everyday person and their everyday pet peeves to the breaking of unwritten social norms and rules. Ideally, sharing these pet peeves will result in a positive outcome - less people doing less infuriating things for the betterment of society. Right now though, it's just a creative way to get shit off my chest. Glad to have you for the ride.

Episode 5 | Baggage Claim
One of many airport peeves - the unruly baggage claim area. This is truly a phenomenon and displays the lowest of lows of the human race behaving like they don't have a frontal cortex. More airport nonsense to come down the line, but we'll start here...even though it's the end of the road for airline travel.

Episode 4 | Tier 1 & 2 A-Holes
We got a lighter episode for you today - something I picked up on a few years ago and realized it happens every time. Never I have I ever been to a professional sporting event and didn't see this. The day I recorded I saw both Tier 1 and 2 A-holes later that evening. Now, forever and always, you will too!

Episode 3 | Egg Hunt Madness
Just another peeve happening out there in the world on what is meant to be a joyful event for kids but...the parents screw it up. On this episode, I rant about an egg hunt event for the Easter holiday. Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts.

Episode 2 | Escalators
Welcome back! Today we address the pedestrian issue of escalators. For any regular commuters or travelers out there, this will likely resonate with you OR make you realize your shortcomings and be a better citizen. Let me hear it in the comments here or on my Instagram page @thesocialcontract23.-Mark

Episode 1 - Cart Return
A common peeve I'm sure, so I figured a good place to start. The act is one of true disgust and cannot be accepted by the majority. It's the ultimate gesture that says, "I don't care about you, or you, or anyone else who comes into this parking lot today." While I gripe about people not returning their shopping carts, hopefully someone hears this and changes their ways.

The Social Contract - Introduction
Welcome to The Social Contract! I'm just a guy with perhaps a heightened sense of annoyance with everyday decisions, or lack thereof, by people I come into contact with. Looking forward to sharing my pet peeves and related thoughts and hopefully being validated by others who also get a little miffed by similar things. It would be great for these episodes to bring awareness to people to be better out there in the world.I also hope to hear from others - the goal would be to have a voicemail for people to share their own pet peeves and discuss on certain episodes. Stay tuned for that but in the meantime, please share your thoughts and/or feedback!-M. Jordan
