Sophie Lane Fox: The Three Pillars That Bring You Back to Yourself
What if the disconnection you're feeling isn't a sign something has gone wrong, but a signal that something much better is waiting? In this episode of The Soulful Catalyst, I'm joined by Sophie Lane Fox, Mindset Transformation Coach. Sophie works with women in midlife who look like they have it all together on the outside, yet on the inside are quietly struggling with anxiety, overwhelm, and a growing sense of disconnection from themselves and their own lives. Her approach blends coaching with breathwork, meditation, and EFT, creating a support container that is notably more frequent than traditional coaching models. What I found so refreshing in this conversation is Sophie's framework for change: awareness first, then acceptance, then energy. She talked about how so many of us are battling and fighting life rather than learning to flow through it. That acceptance piece doesn't mean rolling over, there's plenty of boundary work in her practice. It's more the recognition that every stage of life, even the hard ones, carries its own richness and opportunity if we're willing to shift our perspective. And then there's the energy piece, which is really her big message. We are all fundamentally energy. Our sleep, our food, our thoughts, the people we spend time with, the conversations we have, the news we consume, all of it shapes our energetic state. As Sophie put it, 75% of any conversation is energy. Not the words. Not the tone. The energy underneath. And when you start to understand and take ownership of yours, you change what you're bringing into your life.In this episode, we explore:➤ Why capable, high-achieving women in midlife hit a wall, and what's really going on beneath the surface when life looks good on paper but feels hollow➤ How breathwork and somatic practices unlock what talking alone cannot, and why Sophie weaves them into every client journey➤ The manifestation conversation we're not having, and why chasing the big ticket items often keeps people further from what they actually need➤ What energy actually means in everyday life, and the practical, grounded ways you can start working with yours todayThis episode is for any woman in midlife who has quietly asked herself "is this it?" and is ready to hear that the answer, thankfully, is no.Connect with Sophie Lane FoxWebsite: mindsettransformationcoach.comInstagram: @sophiemindsetcoachLinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/sophie-lane-foxConnect with Joanna IngramWebsite: joannaingram.comInstagram: @iamjo.ingramLinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/joannaingramconsultingMessaging Impact Audit: Get a personalised review of your messaging using my six-pillar framework, plus a clear report with your scores, gaps, and the opportunities you're missing to attract higher-frequency clients. Dr. Sue Cornbluth: When Your Adult Child Goes No Contact and What to Do Next
What if the biggest obstacle to reconnecting with your estranged child isn't them, it's the way you've been trying to reach them?In this episode of The Soulful Catalyst, I'm joined by Dr. Sue Cornbluth, a certified parenting expert, author, coach, and thought leader with international recognition. Dr. Sue specialises in high-conflict divorce, estrangement, and parental and grandparent alienation, and has an extensive media career as a psychological analyst for Court TV.Dr. Sue's work sits right at one of the most painful places a parent can find themselves: loving a child deeply and not being in their life. She works with parents to become the solution to their own family conflict, not by telling their child what to do, but by fundamentally shifting how they show up. As she says, you cannot change another person, but you can absolutely change how you react to them. That is where your power is.What struck me most in this conversation is how clearly she names the thing that keeps parents stuck. Many arrive convinced they've done nothing wrong. And Dr. Sue has to gently, expertly take them back through the pattern of behaviours their child experienced. Because it's rarely one incident. It's repetition over time. And the path forward isn't argument or explanation. It's compassion, empathy, and learning the actual language of a genuine apology .In this episode, we explore:➤ Why "no contact" isn't a trend, and what's really behind the rise of estrangement between parents and adult children➤ What a real apology actually sounds like, and why "if I did anything wrong, I'm sorry" doesn't count➤ The difference between validation and agreement, and how learning that distinction can open a door that has been closed for years➤ Why parents need to change first, and how Dr. Sue coaches them to reparent their adult children in a completely different way➤ The self-power most parents don't realise they have, and how shifting your own behaviour can shift the entire dynamicThis episode is for any parent who loves their child fiercely and is ready to do the honest, humbling work of rebuilding what's been broken.Connect with Dr. Sue CornbluthWebsite: www.drsueandyou.comFacebook: facebook.com/drsusancornbluthInstagram: @drsue2Connect with Joanna IngramWebsite: joannaingram.comInstagram: @iamjo.ingramLinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/joannaingramconsultingMessaging Impact Audit: Get a personalised review of your messaging using my six-pillar framework, plus a clear report with your scores, gaps, and the opportunities you're missing to attract higher-frequency clients. Harriet Taylor: The Part of Menopause Support Nobody's Talking About
What if menopause didn't have to be something you endure, but something you could actually move through with support, clarity, and a sense of your own power? In this episode of The Soulful Catalyst, I'm joined by Harriet Taylor, Female Empowerment Facilitator and Menopause Wellness Consultant, on a mission to help women feel supported, heard, and genuinely empowered through the menopause transition. Drawing on both lived experience and professional training, Harriet brings a holistic approach that goes well beyond the clinical.Harriet came to this work the way so many of us do. Through her own experience. After a hysterectomy in 2023, she was suddenly facing a transition she hadn't planned for, and she noticed something: the support available to women was fragmented, clinical, and rarely addressed the whole person. She trained as a Reiki practitioner, brought her years of counselling experience alongside it, and began doing something she calls translation. Helping women articulate what they're going through clearly enough that their GPs, employers, and families can finally understand it too 😊.What I loved most about this conversation is how grounded and honest Harriet is. She isn't here to tell you menopause is wonderful. She is here to tell you it doesn't have to stop you in your tracks. She works predominantly with neurodivergent women, for whom the overwhelm, anxiety, and intensity of this transition can become particularly acute, and she offers a space that treats the emotional and energetic alongside everything else.In this episode, we explore:➤ Why menopause can feel like speaking a language no one else understands, and what genuine translation actually looks like for women, their workplaces, and their GPs➤ The case for a holistic approach, including womb healing and energy work, and why addressing the energetic body is as important as the clinical conversation➤ Neurodivergence and menopause, and how the combination can amplify anxiety and overwhelm in ways that standard support often misses➤ Why women are not past it at 40, and the conversation Harriet is actively working to shift, in corporate spaces, in GP surgeries, and in community circlesThis episode is for any woman navigating perimenopause or menopause who is tired of being handed a leaflet and sent on her way, and who knows, deep down, that what she needs is something that speaks to all of her.Connect with Harriet TaylorWebsite: theempoweredgoddess.co.ukInstagram: @theempoweredgoddess_retreatsConnect with Joanna IngramWebsite: joannaingram.comInstagram: @iamjo.ingramLinkedIn: Joanna IngramMessaging Impact Audit: Get a personalised review of your messaging using my six-pillar framework, plus a clear report with your scores, gaps, and the opportunities you're missing to attract higher-frequency clients. Karen Wagnon: When You Know Your Child Is Wired Differently Than You
What if the reason you're struggling with your child has nothing to do with how much you love them, and everything to do with how differently you're each wired? In this episode of The Soulful Catalyst, I'm joined by Karen Wagnon, Human Behaviour Specialist, Educator, and Founder of Teaching Our Youth and The Parenting Blueprint. With over 22 years of experience working with parents and educators, Karen helps families understand the personality behind behaviour, so that guidance actually lands, relationships grow stronger, and the daily grind of parenting becomes something a whole lot more like connection.Karen's entry point into this work was deeply personal. She was highly successful in her career, but when she became a mum, she hit a wall. Her eldest son Kyle was strong-willed, and no matter how hard she pushed, nothing was working. It wasn't until she encountered personality-based frameworks in a corporate setting that something clicked: her child wasn't defying her to be difficult. He was simply wired differently. And she was trying to bend him into her shape, instead of learning to speak his language .What she realised, and what she's now spent decades teaching, is that the tools most of us reach for when parenting gets hard, raising our voice, repeating ourselves, just trying harder, don't work because they were never designed for that child's specific personality. Her framework uses personality assessments for both parents and children, then maps the dynamic between them. Where connection flows easily. Where the prickly spots are. And crucially, what to actually do differently, not just in theory, but in practice, with real strategies for real moments. In this episode, we explore:➤ Why personality is part of your child's DNA from birth, and what happens when parents try to override it rather than work with it➤ The difference between surface behaviour and root cause, and why band-aid solutions keep falling off➤ How knowing your own personality is the first step, and why the shift often starts with the parent, not the child➤ Same expectations, different approach, and what that actually looks like when you're parenting children who are polar opposites➤ The legacy piece, because when your child feels truly understood, they stop pulling away and start coming to you for everythingThis episode is for any parent who loves their child deeply but is tired of feeling like they're doing it wrong. Karen's work is a reminder that you're not failing. You just haven't had the map yet.Connect with Karen WagnonWebsite: www.teachingouryouth.comLinkedIn: Karen WagnonInstagram: @kwagnonTikTok: @parentbydesignConnect with Joanna IngramWebsite: joannaingram.comInstagram: @iamjo.ingramLinkedIn: Joanna IngramMessaging Impact Audit: Get a personalised review of your messaging using my six-pillar framework, plus a clear report with your scores, gaps, and the opportunities you're missing to attract higher-frequency clients.
