The Soundtrack of Piano | Track #02 - LUCA FAZIOLI - The indispensable link
In this Track #2 of The Soundtrack of Piano, we are located in Warsaw, Poland. I have the pleasure to share what felt like a very short talk with Luca Fazioli. We speak about pianos, about the relationships between musicians and their instruments, what piano makers may strive for and if those goals match with pianists’. Please, enjoy! The Soundtrack of Piano | Track #01 - HAYATO SUMINO - Being Unique
Finally, a long-dreamed project starts. In this First Episode of Season 1, we get to start with the right foot, talking with Hayato Sumino in Tokyo. We explore in a conversational manner all sorts of matters related to music making and meaning in our work. His take is refreshing, and he represents the next generation of artists working hard for a better future in the classical (and non-classical) music world. His niche has been found by combining his classical training with creativity, ensuring a unique outcome every time. I also share with everyone my thoughts on the topics of moving forward in University, finding balance, finding the source of truth in Music interpretation, pedagogy... If you enjoy one tenth of what I experienced talking with him in a relaxed pace, it will be already an exciting experience!
