Special guest is Jessy DeChamplain who along with his father Francis were crowned Angler of the Year. There is also a tribute to former Montreal Canadiens goaltender Ken Dryden.

Clavelle also played U-Sport hockey for the University of Ottawa Gee Gees where he won a Canadian National title.

They did this to raise money for the youth camp Camp Source De Vie. They will share their experiences of the trip, both good and bad and how they are passing this along to the students.

There will also be excerpts of a ceremony put on by the Hearst Lumberjacks of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League recently courtesy of Flo Hockey.

    Host Denis J . Puska spends time with some members of the Kapuskasing Flyers to discuss the club's recent trip to the James Bay Coast to Moosonee and Moose Factory. The Flyers went along with the Timmins Majors to teach hockey clinics, learn more about the way of life up north and to play two Great North U18 Hockey League games. Guests are Head Coach Alex Plamondon, players Theo Bourdon-Lemoyne, Fynn Manttari and Nico Lessard.

    Episode 7: S2-Episode 7 - Denis Puska hockey stories remembered

    Host Denis J. Puska is interviewed by long time northeastern Ontario broadcast journalist Bob McIntyre to discuss some of Puska's hockey memories from his first hockey broadcast at the age of 14, to bus rides and various experiences in minor pro hockey and junior hockey in the southern United States. Puska has been calling hockey games for over 40 years including over 700 games in Texas. This is part I of a two part series.

    Host Denis J. Puska spends time with Joe Dominey who will be one of 25 amateur cyclists taking part in The Tour 21 -and the grueling challenge of riding the full Tour de France route, one week ahead of the professionals in June of this year (2025). The team will follow the same route as the professionals and raise over one million dollars for Cure Leukemia, the officla charity partner of the Tour de France.

In the interview, she shares her passion of what she does and how she got started. There is also at an update on the Elliot Lake Arena issue and how reopening plans have been delayed again.

Puska spends time with Robert Morris University Head Coach Derek Schooley to get his reaction to the NCAA announcing that Canadian Hockey League players will now be eligible to play at US Universities where they were not allowed previously. The new ruling could change the hockey landscape in the future.

Puska looks at all of the changes in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League this year and how it's working with the teams and the standings. He also has two special guests that started in the NOJHL but have gone onto bigger and better things. Noah Tegelaar played for the Blind River Beavers but now suits up for the Collingwood Blues in the OJHL, while Brant Romaniuk started with the Timmins Rock and now plays for the Gatineau Olympiques in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.

    We visit once again with Steve Antunes the manager of economic development for the City of Elliot Lake to discuss what has happened since the city was awarded Kraft Hockeyville 2024 at the end of March. He talks about the ambitious fundraising campaign for local residents as they try to help the city offset the costs of reconstructing Centennial Arena. There is also new information on the arena and what has happened since the interview, plus we discuss new arena projects for Timmins and Sudbury.

Plus our guest is Trevor Bonoh the skip of Team Northern Ontario to talk about their success at the recently completed Montana's Brier the Canadian Men's Curling Championship in Regina Saskatchewan. He will talk about the experience at the Brier and working with Al Hackner and his friendship with the curling great.
