Shannon and Dylan sit down with Mark Fitzgerald, the executive director of nonprofit Better Tomorrow, which serves as a parent organization to Advocate of Routt County, Brighter World Child Advocacy Center, the COMMA Project and Queer Futures. Fitzgerald talks about the difficulty to make people aware of the services they offer, why it made sense to fold multiple organizations together and the uncertainty around federal funding right now.

Shannon and Dylan sit down with Melina Bricker to talk about psychedelic-assisted therapy, what it looks like and what this therapy is trying to treat. Bricker, who works for Routt County in her day job, recently published a book on the topic called The Reset: Trauma, Treatment Resistance, and How Psychedelics Could Save America. The topic is particularly interesting as Colorado is becoming just the second state to offer regulated psychedelic-assisted therapies after voters legalized it as part of Prop. 122 in 2022.

Shannon and Dylan sit down with Routt County Commissioner Angelica Salinas, who is in her second month on the job after being elected in November. Salinas talks about how she ended up in the Yampa Valley, her time working on Disney cruises and her experience running for county commissioner.
