Zikra's Story: How anxiety made her isolated in her own home and what she did to overcome it!
Zikra's anxiety started when she was in school and was diagnosed at the age of 16. She's always been open about her mental health journey but in 2021 she went through severe trauma. It affected her mental health so much to the point she lost all her confidence and self trust. She isolated herself, was scared to leave the house and she hated being around others or in big crowds. She hated how low her confidence was and how it was impacting her so she decided to do something about it. She started therapy and counselling and it helped her so much that she started leaving the house again, speaking to her friends, and being comfortable in her own company. She also worked on growing her confidence by taking herself out on solo dates, putting herself in uncomfortable situations and making journaling a daily non negotiable. Since doing this, her confidence has grown so much and she feel unstoppable.
