Is the Government Creating Billionaires?
Why does money printed by governments end up in the hands of the wealthy? It's not a conspiracy — it's economics. In this episode of The Think Report, we break down the Cantillon Effect: the economic principle that explains why the first receivers of new money — banks, government contractors, and asset holders — always win, while wage earners are left holding devalued dollars. We also cover why asset prices outpace wages over time, and how businesses systematically capture the surplus that workers generate — and why understanding this is the key to actually building wealth. In this episode:The Cantillon Effect explained with a real estate exampleWhy fiscal and monetary policy widens the wealth gapAsset prices vs. wages — the chart that says it allHow businesses capture economic surplusWhat this means for the middle class and the North American dreamSources & Charts:Federal debt vs. net worth by wealth percentile: https://fred.stlouisfed.org/graph/?g=19DKXS&P 500 vs. median income: https://inflationchart.com/spx-in-incomeRelated watch: https://youtu.be/HbTOQfJ3jQk?si=8g0lP2QrQjr4ctnn&t=82

The Media Isn’t Broken, It’s Rigged
The free press is supposed to hold power accountable. That’s the idea behind the fourth estate. But what happens when the system itself starts breaking? In this episode of The Think Report, we take a hard look at media bias, government funded media, and the growing influence of big tech censorship on what you see, read, and believe. From billions in public funding to the collapse of the subscription model, modern journalism is no longer driven by accuracy, it’s driven by clicks, outrage, and incentives. The result? A system where mainstream media bias, news manipulation, and liberal media bias shape the narrative more than most people realize. We’ll break down:How government control of media quietly impacts coverageWhy trust in the media is collapsingHow fake news media and outrage-based business models took overThe role of tech platforms in filtering informationAnd whether freedom of the press still exists in practiceIf you’ve ever wondered is the media biased or how media controls the narrative, this episode connects the dots.Question what you’re told. Governments Ignore What 60% of People Actually Want

CANCELED! I Was Blocked From Trans Research
The transgender movement continues to put women at risk when staff in a women's shelter allow a transgender pedophile to stay there. In addition, feminists continue to double down on the war on men. The new feminist movement seems to be focused on fighting against men when the biggest threat right now is how the transgender movement is reducing the value of women to a wig and a body suit. Finally, I tried to commission a survey to gather insight into the trans community and it was canceled. Ok so let’s get down to it, in my last video I made a comment that, in spite of all of the gaslighting coming from the trans community, we all know that trans women are not real women (you can check that video by clicking on the link in the top left). We know this… But I wanted to know this for sure. I wanted to point at the numbers so that we aren’t just confirming each other here. So I commissioned a survey. I contacted a survey company and went through the process of distributing a survey to the US general population. After setting up my survey, they contacted me and asked me to revise my question because they felt that it was a sensitive topic. Which it is, let’s be fair (I get that). After making the changes, they emailed me again saying that they “have considered this survey to be politically sensitive and hence we would be taking down the survey from the platform”He was first charged in 2018 with assaulting a 10-year-old girl in a grocery store bathroom and filming another one. Obviously, this is disturbing, but this isn’t a 100% trans issue. This is first a criminal issue, and second, it is actually a broader cultural issue about how we safeguard women and childrenThis brings me to my next point which is that the feminist movement seems to have pivoted off its original path. The feminist movement should be focused on bettering women, but instead, its focused on tearing down men. Listen, I am a feminist. We should all be feminists. To even remotely imply that women don’t deserve everything that men have, is almost criminal. However, that’s not what the new wave of feminism is. New-wave feminism is about tearing down men. Last week Julie Bindel (a UK feminist) doubled down on her attack on menData from different surveys indicate a high prevalence of domestic violence against women in all societies. In western countries, it is estimated that about 25% of women experience intimate partner violence over their lifetimes. However, the other part of this problem is that most domestic violence is not reported.Think about that.https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/tackling-domestic-abuse-plan/tackling-domestic-abuse-plan-command-paper-639-accessible-versionhttps://msmagazine.com/2021/12/23/ms-magazine-top-feminists-2021/https://www.cnn.com/2016/06/17/health/animal-attacks-statistics/index.htmlhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Vib2ar3Bjc&ab_channel=GBNewshttps://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2013/p0125_nisvs.htmlhttps://ncadv.org/blog/posts/domestic-violence-and-the-lgbtq-communityhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69rgLvitaYM&ab_channel=CBCNews%3ATheNationalhttps://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11392601/Transgender-paedophile-caught-duping-staff-71-day-stay-domestic-violence-refuge.htmlhttps://www.publicsafety.gc.ca/cnt/rsrcs/pblctns/sx-ffndr-rcdvsm/index-en.aspxhttps://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/standard-deviations/201805/growing-kinky-research-shows-how-kink-identity-is-formedhttps://www.cdc.gov/violenceprevention/pdf/cdc_nisvs_ipv_report_2013_v17_single_a.pdfhttps://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopulationandcommunity/crimeandjustice/bulletins/domesticabuseinenglandandwalesoverview/november2021https://kpu.pressbooks.pub/nevr/chapter/why-do-survivors-not-report-to-police/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jFX9hehUNA&t=14s&ab_channel=TrueNorth

Gender Surgery is the New Lobotomy
A lobotomy, is a form of neurosurgical treatment for psychiatric disorders that involves severing connections in the brain's prefrontal cortex. The surgery causes many of the connections to and from the prefrontal cortex, to be severed. The treatment was used mostly as a cure for depression, OCT, and schizophrenia. We now know more about these conditions and, as an example, research is starting to show that depression may actually have as much or more to do with your environment than your brain. Nonetheless, it’s most certainly not cured by carving up your frontal lobe. So why is it that we feel that people with gender dysphoria, which is also a psychiatric condition, will be cured by messing with hormones, or worse, amputating body parts.I think there is enough evidence that I can prove to you that the current model of gender affirming treatment is a humanitarian failure by comparing it to the vogue 1940’s and 50’s lobotomy, comparing some of the data, and taking a look at some of the recent developments in gender dysphoria treatment.Sourceshttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lobotomyhttps://www.verywellmind.com/what-is-a-lobotomy-5114062https://www.britannica.com/story/is-it-safe-to-reopen-schools-during-the-covid-19-pandemichttps://journals.lww.com/cur/fulltext/2021/03000/transgender_surgery___knowledge_gap_among.12.aspxhttps://abcnews4.com/news/nation-world/child-gender-dysphoria-diagnoses-puberty-blocker-usage-skyrockets-data-sayshttps://www.heritage.org/gender/commentary/sex-reassignment-doesnt-work-here-the-evidencehttps://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/17990197/https://www1.cbn.com/cbnnews/world/2022/december/sweden-pulls-back-from-gender-affirming-care-on-minors-good-psychosocial-care-is-fundamentalhttps://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S205011611600009X#:~:text=Conclusion,female%2Dto%2Dmale%20individuals.https://www.grandviewresearch.com/industry-analysis/us-sex-reassignment-surgery-markethttps://www.reuters.com/investigates/special-report/usa-transyouth-data/00:00 Introduction01:54 A recap of the 1940's and 50's lobotomy04:36 How does this compare to gender affirming surgeries?10:04 Recent trends in gender dysphoria

Transgender is The New American Gangster
Gender identity has become a massive topic over the past 10 years, maybe the biggest social topic. At one point in September even out pacing Google searches for information about the looming recession. What exactly is our obsession with transgender, why did it explode like it did, and why is it so polarising? I think it’s fair to call the transgender movement a major subculture, but I propose that it’s also a trend or a fad. Fads have good qualities and bad ones. In this episode I’m going to try to prove to you that it’s a fad as well as propose some of the good things as well as the bad things that have come from it.Sourceshttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women%27s_suffrage#:~:text=Dutch%20women%20won%20the%20vote,voting%20rights%20for%20racial%20minorities).https://www.pewresearch.org/social-trends/2022/06/28/americans-complex-views-on-gender-identity-and-transgender-issues/psdt_06-28-22_gender_identity_0_0/https://www.pewresearch.org/social-trends/2022/06/28/americans-complex-views-on-gender-identity-and-transgender-issues/psdt_06-28-22_gender_identity_0_5/https://news.gallup.com/poll/350486/record-high-support-same-sex-marriage.aspxhttps://www.highsnobiety.com/p/ten-influential-subcultures-2010s/https://ivypanda.com/essays/the-popularity-of-subcultures-in-our-time/https://www.theguardian.com/culture/2014/mar/20/youth-subcultures-where-have-they-gonehttps://www.thoughtco.com/symbolic-interaction-theory-3026633https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p90K88EdOXs&t=224shttps://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-019-01237-z

Men Are Also Victims of Gender Inequality
Researchers from the University of Essex have published a controversial study suggesting men are the true victims of gender inequality – with women at an overall advantage. The paper, published in 2019, claims to have found that men are, on average, more disadvantaged than women in 91 out of 134 countries, which is about 68% of countries studied and includes – Great Britain, Canada, and the US.Before you crucify me, this isn’t the only place where this controversial idea has been called out. As the World Bank put it in its most recent Global Gender Gap Report, the current standard for measuring inequality is the World Economic Forum's Global Gender Gap Index. “The index rewards countries that reach the point where outcomes for women equal those for men, but it neither rewards nor penalizes cases in which women are outperforming men". That means it’s effectively a measure of women inequality and ignores men inequality, which is clearly only half the picture. This stuff is super interesting and very important. If advocates for women equality truly want to achieve it, they need to look at the full picture. In this episode we’re going to look at some of the ways that men are behind in equality. The purpose of this episode is not to say that men have it worse than women. Although some measurements do illustrate that like the Basic Index of Gender Inequality (BIGI) focuses on three factors -- educational opportunities, healthy life expectancy and overall life satisfaction. The purpose of this episode is to uncover some of the ways that men aren’t equal and to remind us that if we are going to say that we haven’t reached equality for women, we need to be careful that we aren’t saying that we have reached equality for men, because that is certainly not true. Men make up 50% of the population, if women are going to ask that men buy into the idea of equality, we need to ensure we are looking at the full picture.Sourceshttps://www3.weforum.org/docs/WEF_GGGR_2018.pdfhttps://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/vsrr/VSRR10-508.pdfhttps://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/why-men-often-die-earlier-than-women-201602199137https://www.unesco.org/en/articles/what-you-need-know-about-unescos-global-report-boys-disengagement-educationhttps://www.economist.com/the-economist-explains/2022/11/23/why-are-boys-doing-badly-at-schoolhttps://documents1.worldbank.org/curated/en/111041644611110155/pdf/Educational-Underachievement-Among-Boys-and-Men.pdfhttps://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2021/11/08/whats-behind-the-growing-gap-between-men-and-women-in-college-completion/https://www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/pub/82-625-x/2019001/article/00002-eng.htmhttps://www.statista.com/statistics/187478/death-rate-from-suicide-in-the-us-by-gender-since-1950/https://healthydebate.ca/2017/08/topic/male-suicide/https://www.bop.gov/about/statistics/statistics_inmate_gender.jsphttps://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2019/01/190103152911.htm00:00 Introduction02:14 Men don't live as long as women04:56 Men perform poorer in school06:42 Men aren't completing university07:52 Men have lower live satisfaction08:16 Men are more likely to commit suicide09:10 Men are more likely to be imprisoned09:54 Boys deal with stronger stereotypes10:52 BIGI - Basic Index of Gender Inequality

Is Fascism Back?
The word fascist gets thrown around constantly in modern political debate. Politicians, voters, journalists, and activists use it as an all-purpose insult. But what does fascism actually mean?In this episode of The Think Report, we step back from the noise and look at the real history behind the term. Drawing on political theory, journalism, and historical research, we break down fascism explained through the work of scholars like Umberto Eco and Robert Paxton. We examine how fascism developed in Italy under Benito Mussolini, how it evolved in Germany under Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party, and how it connected to the rise of ultranationalism, antisemitism, and authoritarian rule that led into WW2 after the turmoil of WW1.But history alone isn’t the whole story. We also explore how the word fascism is used in modern news, geopolitics, and political discourse. Are current political movements actually fascist, or are we confusing nationalism, populism, and strong leadership with authoritarianism? The episode also examines the debate between fascism and Marxism, looking at the ideas of Karl Marx and why some scholars argue that authoritarian systems can emerge from both ideological extremes. What separates fascism from Marxist systems, and why do these ideologies sometimes appear to “rhyme” in practice? Finally, we look at the real warning signs historians point to when democracies begin to slide toward dictatorship. These include erosion of institutional trust, concentration of emergency powers, suppression of dissent, and the collapse of political moderation. If the word fascism is going to mean anything, we have to understand it clearly.Topics covered in this episode:Fascism explained through historical and academic frameworksBenito Mussolini and the rise of fascism in ItalyAdolf Hitler, the Nazi Party, and fascism in GermanyUltranationalism, antisemitism, and the path to WW2The relationship between fascism, authoritarianism, and dictatorshipMarxism and the ideas of Karl Marx compared with fascist systemsWarning signs historians look for in modern politicsHow journalism and geopolitics shape the way we talk about fascism todayIf you enjoy long-form conversations about history, journalism, geopolitics, and political ideas, subscribe to The Think Report.#fascism #fascismexplained #geopolitics #journalism #history #naziparty #benitomussolini #adolfhitler #marxism #karlmarx #ww1 #ww2 #authoritarianism #nationalism #ultranationalism

The Age of Weak Leaders Is Ending - Trump and Iran Was Inevitable
Are soft times coming to an end?In this episode of Think Report, I break down the global shift toward stronger leadership in response to economic instability, Iran, rising geopolitical tension, and weakening institutions. From Iran’s nuclear ambitions to the fall of Rome, I connect the dots between collapsing empires and what we’re seeing today in the United States, Canada, and beyond. Here’s what I cover:Why I believe Iran has no intention of negotiating away its nuclear leverageHow the Ayatollah regime calculates survival and why deterrence mattersWhat the fall of the Western Roman Empire teaches us about invasions, internal instability, military outsourcing, inflation, and economic decayThe corrections Donald Trump is making to the Biden administration’s foreign policy, especially around sanctions, tariffs, and projecting strengthWhy Trump’s tariff strategy reshaped North American trade and how those tariffs hit the Canadian economyHow Mark Carney is responding by diversifying trade, pursuing new global economic structures, expanding energy exports, and reducing dependence on the United StatesThe broader economic strategy involving China, India, the European Union, Qatar, the UAE, and Indo Pacific tradeWhy voters in Argentina, Italy, Slovakia, and elsewhere are electing leaders who promise to reverse what they see as soft progressive policiesI talk about tariffs, the economy, energy infrastructure, trade agreements, nuclear deterrence, Rome’s decline, and the growing demand for decisive leadership. Are we repeating the mistakes of Rome?Is Iran betting that the West is too divided to act?Are Trump and Carney representing two different versions of strength? If you care about geopolitics, the global economy, tariffs, Iran, Rome, and the future of Western leadership, this one’s for you.Subscribe to Think Report for more direct analysis on politics, economics, and global power shifts.00:00 Introduction02:37 When in Rome06:05 The Trump Approach09:17 The Carney Approach12:20 The International Approach14:19 Strength is Credible Boundaries

The Left is Confused on the Iran Attack
When ICE protests erupt in the United States and two Americans are killed during the chaos, the political left is up in arms. Marches. Headlines. Wall to wall coverage. Moral clarity. But when we talk about an Iran war, suddenly it’s “complicated.”In this episode, I break down the hypocrisy surrounding the Iran attack debate, the reaction to the Israel Iran war narrative, and why the same voices condemning domestic force seem unwilling to confront what happened during the Iran protests, where thousands of civilians were killed by their own regime. If Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons, is the West supposed to ignore it?If the regime has already killed 18,000 of its own citizens during civilian protests, why is a U.S. or Israel Iran attack treated as the greater evil?Where does WWIII rhetoric fit into this conversation? And why is “World War 3” the immediate talking point whenever Iran’s nuclear program is challenged? This is not about cheering for war. It’s about consistency. It’s about whether the standard changes depending on who is pulling the trigger.Topics covered:• Iran war debate• Iran attack analysis• Iran protests and regime crackdowns• Iran nuclear weapons threat• Israel Iran war tensions• Israel Iran attack scenarios• WWIII narratives• World War 3 fear politicsIf you’re tired of selective outrage and narrative gymnastics, this one’s for you.Subscribe for more analysis that questions the headlines instead of repeating them.
