By making the steps visible in work processes, a tedious copy-paste task can be optimised at multiple levels - first to get the task done most effectively and then at a higher level using asset thinking to improve the process further. What was a 3-hour process has been reduced to 60 minutes or even 10 minutes or less with the improvements in workflow. While this saves money for the business, perhaps more importantly, it reduces team member frustration than being forced to do inefficient and unrewarding work.
