Episode 98 - Cari Scholtens
If this were one of those "behind the music" stories, this week's guest will be dating Nikki Six by Thanksgiving. Cari Scholtens answered an ad. A contest from a little game company looking for voices for its latest game. And so, this high school teacher recorded a short demo which , a few short months later, brought her to Los Angeles to record the role of Jil in Mass Effect Andromeda. Cari chats with Evan about working alongside FOTS Fryda Wolff, finding new voice gigs on Casting Call Club, being not only bitten but downright swallowed by the voice acting bug and being just generally adorable. Episode 97 - Danielle Rayne
Machine guns and mandibles. Vetra or this week's guest? Danielle Rayne may look like the kind of lady who fits in with the high class crowds of Scandal and Revenge, but she's also the kind of bad-ass lady that shoots Terminators, works the Portal Gun like a boss and knows how to handle a Cyclone Assault Rifle whilst gallivanting in the Heleus cluster. Danielle chats with Evan about wielding a machine gun in an amusement park shortly after 9/11, being thrown into the love pile that is the Mass Effect fandom, wanting to get into performance and motion capture (mandibles optional) and how you never know where your career (or life for that matter) will take you. Episode 96 - Kay Bess
Like an abbess, but 10 letters later. Provided you survived that "joke", this week we've got a women truly in the background of your life. Having done countless commercials and narration bit across her multi-decade career, Kay Bess is just now getting into the realm of character work (although of course commercials are characters all their own). Kay talks about working suddenly on Rise Of The Tomb Raider, how listening is just as important as speaking in voice work, and her new podcast The B-Hive where you can listen to her talk to yet more voice actors (if this show isn't enough for you. It's ok, we can take it.) Like the show? Become a supporter of our Patreon campaign for access to outtakes, advance notice of guests and even a live stream of the interviews.

Episode 95 - Elizabeth Maxwell
Don't be Garudo, there's a lady present. God that was just awful. Moving along.... Elizabeth Maxwell may be relatively new to this whole voice acting thing, but she's managed to snag some choice roles in the short time. From Ymir on Attack On Titan to the latest actress behind Motoko Kusanagi in Ghost In The Shell, she's made her mark in anime, while roles in XCom 2, Shadow Warrior 2 and as Lady Urbosa in Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild have given her exposure to videogamers (or at least those who can find a Switch). Elizabeth chats with Evan about the inherent gassiness of voice actors, auditioning for the room and her D&D characters. Also something about Virgin Cheerleaders In Chains. Not so sure about that one. Like the show? Become a supporter of our Patreon campaign for access to outtakes, advance notice of guests and even a live stream of the interviews.
