Both films deal with existentialist themes and stare death in the face, but there are actually a few differences between BARBIE and OPPENHEIMER if you look closely! For example, one movie is based on toys and the other is about the fragile nature of society — hmm, maybe they actually aren't very different at all? 🤔 Well, we talk about several thematic similarities and surface differences, and in particular the cultural context and conversation around The Barbenheimer Experience.
