On the night of March 26, 2026, a stabbing occurred at Pokémon Center Ikebukuro. A female employee was stabbed and critically injured by a male assailant, who then died by suicide shortly afterward. Both have since been confirmed dead. Why did such a tragic incident happen at a place meant to be peaceful? My deepest condolences to the victims and their families. May they rest in peace.
