Episode 1- The Way of the Phoenix-Trust The Journey
This was my first episode aired on cable TV. It is a guide for helping you overcome stress and adversity, regardless of how severe. The principles apply to all of us experiencing life and feeling disempowered -- like we don't have the control we want to have over our circumstances and emotions. You don't need to be a trauma survivor to benefit, but if you are, use it and share it. I especially want to assist Gen Z listeners, because the sooner you learn and apply the things found in my episodes the more control you have in your life and the less anxiety you will experience. This episode explains: How you can look at your worst experiences and find benefit within them. How to live by a Code of Conduct or Personal Mission Statement. How to quit caring what other people think Some of my personal tragedies, including a nearly fatal illness and the loss of many pregnancies How your difficulties actually help define your greatness How perspectives can make or break you Some "Timeless Truths" that helped me heal and triumph-- that will apply to you too. How to look at your life with the perspective that everything is actually working together for your good. You can actually "trust the journey" of your life! This is the foundation for the rest of my podcast episodes. This was my first big dream of having my own broadcasting station. It was quite a project and served as my vision for what is now my podcast-The Way Of The Phoenix. This is a preview that tells you a little about my podcast... The Way Of The Phoenix and what it's going to do for you. It's coming January 2025 so watch for it here. I especially want to empower the Gen Z er's, 18 and up, to overcome anxiety, stress, and learn to set boundaries and go for what you what, without worrying what other people think. People who have experienced severe illness, stress, adversity, and trauma are drawn to me as if I know how to help them--because I do. I show them how to do the work for themselves so they don't have to rely on me--eventually. I've experienced Trauma with a Capital T, but don't imagine you won't get anything from this if you haven't. I'll be sharing the best coping strategies and extraordinary practices I have learned over decades to help make you handle stress, critics, get out of fight or flight, and design the life you most want to live. I know these skills and information work because I have lived them, and as you get to know me through my life stories featured in my episodes--you'll understand why.
