In this episode we discuss a topic we are interested in as engineering majors. We start off with Josh Danielowski discussing the issue we have noticed, traffic congestion and the direct causes of this. Bottlenecks, accidents, zipper merge, and driver mentality were the main points building congestion. We then transition to talking about the solutions to these problems and some potential solutions that need further research. We talked about flex lanes and the importance it brings, as well as traffic signals and different lane speed limits. We finish off with Reid Courtwright discussing driver mentality and how people play a part in congestion., along with the new idea of break lights and a future change to them.
