Órdahin's Passage • Windswept Grassland, the High Road, and an Approaching Storm

Órdahin's Passage is a high road, safe from the floods of the fenlands, that connects like a wheel-spoke Áendhrod to Crwdon. It runs horizontal in the south country for a week's hard ride before bending north. You are still in earshot of the city's bells. It is mid-afternoon, and a storm approaches.Thieves Cant is my new library (population: 1) of grounded, low-fantasy soundscapes for RPG sessions and late-night storytelling. Rain on the road, candlelight in a quiet room, a distant wind through the trees. A place for thieves, travelers, and anyone who needs to slip away for a while. It may take a mite to populate on the podcatchers, but you can subscribe to Thieves Cant • Low-Fantasy Soundscapes on Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Spotify, and wherever else you might look. Patrons can also download the soundscape without the intro I add for the podcast, so you can queue it up seamlessly.I make these to make our audio dramas and actual plays feel lived in, and I honestly thought it wouldn't be too much additional work to just publish them. I am neither expert nor audio whiz, but I make stuff and think folks might dig it.Hope this helps you escape. 🐦‍⬛🖤 Our paying subscribers on Substack (https://thief.substack.com) and Patreon (https://patreon.com/thethief) pay our voice actors, our musician, artists, and license the music and sound effects that you hear: Nandi K., Kari Sutcliffe, and Amz Deen.
