    Dr. Andrea Johnson wants to improve the lives of adolescents living with advanced cancer.     Dr. Amir Foroozan wants to convert carbon emissions to fuel.  He's searching for an electrochemical way of turning CO2 into a fuel. Amir was part of the 2023/2024 cohort of the McCall MacBain Postdoctoral Fellows Teaching & Leadership Program.     Polar bears live on sea ice but their habitat is melting due to climate change.     How antidepressants in water could change fish forever

    Dr. Andrew Thompson tells Dr. Joe Kim how our increasing consumption of antidepressants could be changing fish and other aquatic animals. The effect can last generations and Andrew says we need to act now to protect aquatic animals from our actions.  Dr. Andrew Thompson was a MITACS Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Biology at McMaster University.
