This is Entertainment? (Chemical Imbalance Remixes)
by Skatenigs
This album has been a passion project since 2018 when I set out to assemble a collection of remixes and re-imaginations of the song that started it all, Chemical Imbalance, by some of favorite producers and artist. In 1987 I developed one of the most important friendships of my lifetime. Al Jourgensen and I became fast friends when Ministry played the Cave Club in Austin, Tx where I had been establishing an audience devoted to industrial music and the sound of Wax Trax records. It wasn't long after that Jourgensen would ask me to get a band to open for Ministry's Land of Rape and Honey tour. Hence Skatenigs were born and so was Chemical Imbalance. Al would produce the first iteration for the Chicago based label. During the recording we met Lorri Jackson who would pen and perform the now famous prologue to the songcreditsreleased June 9, 2023This album is dedicated to the memory of my son, Cash Owen 1995 - 2017Artists and producers involved in this project are:This is Entertainment
