The Cost of Chaos: Diving into my ACTUAL 2025 Spreadsheets
Okay, this episode is the epitome of “this might be too much”. I am literally laying out all of my numbers, all of the income, revenue, expenses—you name it—from my 2025 year of doing bridal hair and makeup! I know, crazy right?!? Who am I?! Honestly, let me answer that. I’m a woman tired of not talking about earning potential, money, and how we can increase opportunities in our lives. I’ll never be in the top 1% BUT I can earn a comfortable living where bridal beauty pays my bills, buys me a home, sends my children to the best schools, etc. The first step toward achieving that is being unapologetic in having the conversation about earnings, setting goals to get there, and building my community around me to help me get there. If you’re interested, go ahead, take a listen and help contribute to the convo by dropping a comment below! Or DM me @rcd.artistry to chat if you’re still working on being comfortable talking about money. Let’s take the shame out of the spreadsheet and yap! I’m just getting started with what ~should have been~ Money Mindset Month (for Feb)…but don’t worry, I’m still going to yap all things money, pricing, earnings, for the next few weeks—it just won’t be contained all to the month of February lol If you liked this episode, please let me know with some feedback in this comments 🫶🏻🫶🏻 Thanks so much queens! See you in the next one!

BONUS: Honeybook Hacks
Honeybook has been my client relationship management system (CRM) since I started my business, BUT I’ve had a lot to learn to optimize my systems and care for my clients along the way. What I was utilizing Honeybook for at the start of my business has changed SO drastically to how I support my brides now! This episode is meant to be one for the girlies—chalked full of all the tips & tricks on how to maximize the use of Honeybook features so that you can have clear, concise, professional, and beautifully easy communication with your clients! This episode was a bit less scripted than my usual ones so let me know if you enjoyed the format a bit more! Also, if you need help/want more info on any of the Honeybook hacks I share here, leave a comment below or DM me on IG @rcd.artistry. Thank you so much for listening! See you in the next one!

The Anti-Perfectionist Episode
The Anti-Perfectionist Episode is for all of my fellow recovering perfectionists who want a bit of truth serum mixed with self-discovery. I talk about what perfectionism is, psychologically where it came from, how it can manifest for hair stylists and makeup artists, and some practical ways to help us loosen its grip. I also discuss my beliefs on how if you want your service-based business to survive in 2026 and beyond, you need to practice a bit more anti-perfectionism, because done is better than perfect and the Gen Z bride prefers real and raw over perfectly branded. This one is definitely a bit nerdier than I usually get, but hey, here’s to throwing spaghetti at the wall to seeing what sticks for us all! If you liked it, def let me know! Leave your thoughts in the comments or DM me @rcd.artistrty so we can yap!!

What I would NOT do again
This episode brings you four key lessons I've learned in the last 6 years of my bridal beauty business--specifically the things I would not do again! I've folded in my only two bridezilla stories that were a direct result of my own lack of boundaries. This episode falls into the category of "we listen and we don't judge", but I do hope it brings light and laughter to silly things that have happened in my career--things that I've ensured through contract clauses, boundary-setting, and having a bit more experience in serving brides, that these scenarios won't be repeated in my own business. I hope that for newer artists or business owners, they can learn from my mistakes here! Cheers to sharing candidly...and again, we listen and we don't judge ; ) Please let me know your thoughts either via Spotify comments here or via DM @rcd.artistry. I love a good yap session so feel free to share if you took something from this episode or if it sparked a bridezilla memory for you--I wanna know!!

Starting with the Details: A lil Inside Look at my Business
I've been wanting to share a bit more of the nitty gritty details of the inside of my business. Drop a comment below, send me a DM @rcd.artistry or @mightbetoomuchpod. Happy to discuss and definitely want to create a sense of community around this pod!! Let's make this epi the start of many more two-way conversations!! Be sure to hit the follow button on here so you know when new episodes are posted (every Friday!!) Thanks so much loves!!!

Setting Intentions for 2026

The Comeback
Life can be too much at times. For the last three to four months, it really had me down and out--for good reason, but I needed to pause, rest, and recoup. Excited to be back and bringing in the New Year with a comeback...because it's okay to take a break (planned or unplanned) and to return to something you love when your capacity is ready to accommodate it. Thank you for those who checked in on me during my hiatus! I have so much love for this community! Follow me on IG and TikTok: @mightbetoomuchpod or @rcd.artistry

The Business Plan is Me Surviving
Let's not get it twisted...I want more than just surviving out of life, BUT in order to get to the affluent, opportunity-rich lifestyle that I am striving for, I have to build. Because sometimes...the strategy is just making it to next week.No marketing funnel. No five-year plan. Just grit and a gut feeling that this is still worth it.Because there are seasons where “growing” just looks like not quitting. So today, I want to walk you through the biggest game changers in my business — the ones that didn’t come wrapped in glitter or a huge follower count. The real shifts.I’m talking about the kind that happens in silence. When no one claps. When you hit ‘publish’ and sort of immediately regret it.When you have no proof it’s working — but you do it anyway. The behind-the-scenes, holy-shit-this-might-work kind of moments. The kind that changed the way I showed up.These game changers were keys to helping me grow, so I want to share them with you. Let's get into it! Have questions or want to yap about the episode with me? Let's chat in my DMs or leave a comment here on Spotify!I can't wait to hear from you!

The Sign You Said You Needed
This week we are diving into the full story on why I started doing makeup in 2020--buckle in babe, because it's not what you're used to hearing. Makeup was both a life saver and a life CHANGER for me. Listen in for why I believe it helped me become the best version of myself as well as how and when I started providing makeup services for other people--well before I was any good at it! Also, this week I share three MAJOR "Truth Bombs" you need to hear if you're a creative, business owner, entrepreneur, or just someone doing their best to create better opportunities for yourself...because business isn't easy, and neither is creating the life you want for yourself. DM me any questions, comments, feedback, or just to connect with me on IG here. I cannot wait to hear from you!!!
