Thought About It Podcast

Reading anything online gives us discussion that often times is not done. I like reading, writing about it, and talking about it. This is the podcast for me to talk about the things that are being shown to most of us online. Most of that conversation is done in private, if it happens at all. I find the moment I talk about something that I start to understand the most important, least important, and overall relevance of anything that I'm reading.Being someone that has gotten really good at creating lists and writing comments on pieces of writing online, I'm sharing that process in a daily podcast format that gives you my side of the discussion.

Fatih Yıldız - The Illusion of the Shiny Object

In episode 5, we discuss 'The Illusion of the Shiny Object' by Fatih Yıldız. This article was found on Medium.com. It was one of the top articles in the self improvement section. After talking it through, the article seems to provide a lot of value to Medium.com. I thought this article would be especially relevant to engineers and people that identify with progressive ideologies, not to group the two.

Viktoria Verde - How to Become Ridiculously More Creative

In episode 4, we discuss 'How to Become Ridiculously More Creative' by Viktoria Verde. This article was found on Medium.com. It was one of the top articles in the self improvement section. Right away, I had problems with the article right when reading the title, but I tried to understand exactly why. It turns out there was good reason to chat further about this article.

Introduction: Why I started this podcast

I want to read, bring that to the audience, and talk about it simply. I found success posting highlighted comments and building reading lists on Medium.com earlier. That makes me want to provide better through a podcast. This podcast provides me a more appropriate place to talk about what I read throughout the day. This episode includes discussion of the many differences between POINT5 Podcast, my other project, and this new project.
