In this edition of the TIANS Athlete Spotlight, e caught up with Kentville Wildcats baseball player, Colby Turple.He shared some of his favorite memories, pre-game rituals, and who he'd love to have dinner with.Having played baseball since he was a child, Colby has no shortage of memorable moments. He counts winning the college Nationals in Alberta as a major highlight, along with winning a silver medal in the senior league and a bronze in junior. "It's hard to pick just one," he said.When asked who he would love to have dinner with, Colby quickly named legendary slugger Barry Bonds and Hall of Fame pitcher Randy Johnson.Colby also admitted to a pre-game superstition he's had since childhood: he never walks on the foul line. He always steps over it, a habit that has "just stuck with me," he said with a laugh.Colby enjoys exploring his home province and loves taking scenic drives through the countryside, something he grew up doing in his small hometown. "There's a lot of stuff to explore," he noted.
