I wrote this short song a few months ago for a play by René de Obaldia called "Pour ses beaux yeux", which translates to "For her beautiful eyes". The play is about a faithful husband whose life is turned around when his wife pushes him to participate in a television game show. In preparation he must dive into countless encyclopedias in order to garnish his general culture. He calls out to a "TV game show professor", a very eccentric character whose entrance is accompanied by this short jingle. It seems as though from whatever place this sound emanates, it pays no heed to the shadows that lie; a world of darkness that doesn't appear to reach this sanctuary, a peaceful haven for the sparse remains of life.

Unfortunately the project was recently cancelled, leaving me with several tracks to release by myself, after finishing some and finalising the rest. Like the rest of my songs, I am making them available for free on Bandcamp. "Remnants of Darkness" is part of what was meant to be the soundtrack to this game. It consists of five tracks: --- 3 - Flying Arrows Originally supposed to loop, this fight theme also includes the theme used in the first two tracks. While the first part of this track is bright and heroic, the second is much calmer and darker, to fit the general tone of the game. I originally set the description of this EP as it being like "whatever" but for orchestral. I have since changed my mind about how I want to approach my music, and how I want to release it. While I wrote "reverie" with the intent to tell a story, a few pieces ended up sitting on my computer for weeks, and I just didn't have anything to show in the meantime, which I hated. So what I mean is I'm going to stop being so formal with my releases and just post music when I feel like it. This also means I'm not making "reverie" a series like "whatever" but only a simple, seven-tracks EP :) So yeah, this is "reverie", I hope you enjoy, and thanks for listening!

It's been way too long since Part 3, but I finally got arround to continuing my reorchestration of The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap's OST. This time, the tracks are Ezlo Appears, Minish Woods, Minish Village and Deepwood Shrine, which are the four first songs you hear when the adventure really begins (appart from the iconic Hyrule Field in Part 3). This is the third part of my series on remaking The Legend of Zelda; The Minish Cap's original soundtrack using Albion One by Spitfire Audio. The tracks are Hyrule Castle, Quest Begins (which is a variation on Hyrule Castle that you hear when you are sent on your adventure), and Hyrule Plains which is the game's most iconic theme. Today I'm not bringing you a playlist, but instead I have a tribute reorchestration of one of my favourite games of all time: The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap for Gameboy Advance. (I still have my golden triforce GBA ^_^) This is the first part, meaning I aim to reorchestrate the whole original soundtrack. This one has the Intro Screen, the Fairy Fountain song (which you can also hear in the save selection menu) and "Story", the song you hear at the beginning of the game when the story is explained. I really hope you enjoy it, and if you do please share it with your friends! This track was made with Spitfire Audio's Albion One.
