Loss of Agency
Just a few weeks ago I recorded my third or fourth interview with Ahmad Malik. The conversation lasted well over 2 hours and we covered a lot. I visited Ahmad’s purpose-built studio for this one. And we had a long lunch afterwards. I also had the pleasure to meet the Doc’s free range chickens. I’d encourage you to listen to the whole chat (as well as many others) on Doc Malik’s substack. In this sequence I discuss my book, South of Market, that was published in late 2025. Multipolarism, Iran and 'Airstrip 1'
It’s about a year or so since I appeared on the Geopolitics & Empire podcast. Although I recently interviewed Hrvoje Morić with Patrick Wood for this site. This latest conversation, for G&E, followed on from that conversation. Although, of course, in the intervening period, the Americans and Israelis started a new war with Iran. In the interview I discuss, with Hrvoje, the rise of the technocratic state using recent events as examples, such as the meningitis simulation and subsequent "outbreak" on Airstrip One, a coordinated effort to condition the public for a permanent state of emergency. We discuss the "stay-at-home" culture and the transition to EVs and cashless payments as strategic moves to increase surveillance and social control. The dialogue also questions the authenticity of the multipolar world order, proposing that conflict in the Middle East may be a "financial stitch-up" designed to integrate global economies into a unified digital infrastructure. We also discuss whether prominent political and tech figures act as agents of a deeper establishment rather than independent leaders. Listeners should maintain critical thinking and extreme skepticism toward all mainstream and alternative narratives. We also discuss my new novel and some of its technocratic themes. The Case Against the Epstein 'Elite'
I wanted to share this video produced by Fiona Rose Diamond following the historic court proceedings in Amsterdam just a week or so ago. (I was invited to cover the court action but was unable to do so because of other commitments). However, Fiona - herself a law student - did a great job. The video is an excellent synopsis of what happened and the legal arguments put by Peter Stassen. As Fiona articulates well in the video, this is not, in any sense, winning. Many of us, for years, have been vilified for holding the view that “Covid-19” was a globally coordinated attack on freedom and medical ethics. But this is the first time that arguments have been put forward, in a court of law, in any Western jurisdiction. So it’s a step forward. Here’s Fiona’s introduction to the video. If you want to truly understand what is unfolding in the case against Bill Gates, Albert Bourla (CEO of Pfizer) and Mark Rutte (former Dutch PM) along with 15 other defendants - watch this video. In that courtroom, lawyer Peter Stassen didn't just speak; he delivered a calculated, scorched-earth dismantling of the defendants. What he put on the record is absolute fire. You have to watch it for yourself. This case is real. It is happening. Please take the time to watch the full update, and share it. While the mainstream media remains predictably silent, we are the ones breaking the blackout. We are the ones ensuring the world knows exactly what was hidden.History isn't just being written; it's being corrected. Never give up on the truth. This is our moment. Watch. Share. Be the witness history requires. This is a public episode. If you'd like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit www.thenewera.uk/subscribe

Technocracy Rising
Yesterday I had the pleasure to chat with Hrvoje Morić, Editor and Host of Geopolitics and Empire, and Patrick Wood, one of the foremost writers and commentators on the Technocratic movement. Patrick Wood is an Economic & market forecaster, speaker, and author of Technocracy Rising: The Trojan Horse of Global Transformation, and Technocracy: The Hard Road to World Order. You can follow his work here. Hrvoje Morić is the host and producer of The Geopolitics & Empire Podcast. Hrvoje hails from the United States. He was bred between the two worlds of America and his ethnic homeland of Yugoslavia/Croatia, moving back and forth between the two countries. His name literally means “Croat”. He is also a naturalized Mexican, fluent in English/Croato-Serbian/Spanish, and truly a proud citizen of all three nations! The conversation started (my fault) with some commentary on the continuing Epstein scandal, but then we focused more on the state of the technocracy/algocracy project. I was keen to get Hrvoje’s and Patrick’s response to Mark Carney’s recent speech at the WEF conference in Davos. They didn’t disappoint. I highly recommend you watch this conversation in full. Getting these two together, to discuss some of the most concerning geopolitical developments of our lifetimes, provides some incredible nuggets of insight. The End of the Rules Based System?
In my latest chat with Claus Hetting (recorded last Friday just before the release of the latest Epstein files) we discuss some of the developments at the recent World Economic Forum in Davos - debating whether WEF is really that important in the scheme of things, whether Mark Carney’s speech (about the end of the ‘rules based system’) was orchestrated tosh, and whether our attention should be focused at all on these staged events.Evidence that a technocratic rules-based-order is very much still in place is Keir Starmer’s recent visit to China. Is China a central player in the technocratic agenda? Or should we believe Trump’s line that China represents a mortal threat to Pax Americana? We also chat about Trump’s new Fed Chair, Kevin Warsh (son-in-law of Ron Lauder, heir to the Estee Lauder empire and big fan of the United States purchasing Greenland). The recent collapse of Microsoft’s stock price also features in our discussion. The price correction came after the news that Microsoft’s cloud contract book is heavily dependent on OpenAI and its data centre infrastructure build-out. We also touch on the announcement that OpenAI’s ChatGPT may start showing ads, alongside its hallucinations, to free subscribers. We discuss the new kid on the the social media block, UpScrolled, and whether its ‘anti-Israel’ platform will get the traction it needs to become a mainstream player in the potentially declining market for youth eyeballs (now that Larry Ellison is censoring anything on TikTok that appears even slightly anti-Zionist).Claus and I also discuss the US Congress decision to require kill-switches to be fitted to all new cars.We finish with some discussion about what we’ve been reading. Claus has been re-reading Milton Friedman’s Freedom to Choose. Meanwhile, I was reminding myself of the brilliance of George Orwell by reading, Coming up for Air. Tech for Freedom Newschat Episode 2
For those of you who witnessed my December viral fisticuffs with Ryanair, you’ll find this chat interesting. Claus Hetting and I chat about the tendency, these days, for Technocratic-run businesses (like Ryanair) to treat customers like crap. But, more particularly, big autocratic businesses and governments seem to think that they have some God-given right to tell us how to behave. To some extent we’ve only ourselves to blame. We also have another poke at EVs (and the increasing tendency for governments to want to control them centrally); GDPR and its demise; the UK Digital ID protests; the UK Government Digital Service (and DOGE); CBDCs (again); and personal sovereignty - where it came from and where it’s going. Clearly some of the themes in this chat appear in my new(ish) novel, South of Market. And on that subject, and to celebrate the New(ish) Year, I have a super offer for you. If you take out a new paid subscription to The New Era I’ll send you a (signed) paperback copy of the book. In the post. I can only offer this to UK and Ireland based subscribers I’m afraid. But I think it’s a rather good deal. Very few of my subscribers pay. And very few of you have bought the book. So here’s a good way to support my work and get a copy of South of Market. Please do email me to let me know your postal address if you do subscribe. Here’s a bit more information about the book and some reviews… This is a public episode. Digital ID Protest London
I caught-up with Fiona Rose Diamond a few days ago. Fiona has been the force behind many of the protest marches in the past - including the protests against lockdowns and vaccine mandates during the darkest days of the Covid dystopia. I know that Fiona has a stellar line-up of speakers and contributors for Saturday. She’ll be announcing speakers during the coming week. Further information about the protest and her campaign is available here: https://massnoncompliance.com/You can also follow Fiona on Twitter here. Abi Roberts on Hot Banana
Abi Roberts and I have been stomping the freedom boards for the last 5 years or so. Abi, and Bob Moran, were front and centre when I organised a debate on Digital ID back in October 2021. She had me on as one of her first guests when she was as TNT News. I’ve interviewed her several times for this site. So when I heard that Abi was writing a book (Hot Banana) around the same time I was writing mine (South of Market) we both figured it would make sense to swap notes and unashamedly plug our books on here (Christmas is coming etc). We’re also thinking of an Abi and Jeff book-plugging roadshow (and signing) in the New Year (kicking off in Belfast). If you’d like to get involved in any way please let me know (comments are open). TFF NewsChat November 2025
Claus Hetting and I finally got round to recording our first Tech for Freedom ‘NewsChat’ podcast. It was supposed to be a half hour chat but ran to an hour. The chat was recorded this morning. We cover a lot, in roughly this order: ISO20022 (the new, dystopian, token trading platform being pushed by the BIS); AI as the ultimate surveillance tool; the AI bubble (and the possible demise of the Mag7); AI bailouts and debt; and the EV ‘sustainability’ myth. We also talk about the potential TFF Conference in Geneva next year (in the late Spring/early Summer). If you’d like to comment on this initiative, or would like to get involved, please comment below. Comments are open. Also, if you’d like to help us organise our first conference, volunteer, or step up to the lectern to speak, please make yourself known. Miles Harris on Digital ID and the Unified Ledger
Miles Harris is an Economist and Substacker. His analysis of the ‘backroom’ development of UK digital ID and tokenization projects caused quite a stir around the time that Keir Starmer was ‘announcing’ the so-called Britcard Digital ID plans. In this conversation Miles and I chat about the reasons for coordinated digital ID projects across the globe: to enable the roll-out of a unified ledger wrapped around spiralling international debt. At the heart of these plans is a new international standard for money and asset tokenization: ISO 20022.So if you thought that the Britcard was an attempt to introduce a new digital ID card that could be thwarted by street protests, think again. But that’s not to say that concerted effort won’t be required to resist what will amount to slavery to a system that’s been in development for decades. Comments on this post will be limited to paid subscribers only. Please consider becoming a paid subscriber to TNE to allow us to do more of this type of work. Also, if you’d like to spread the ethos of personal freedom and liberty this Christmas please consider buying a few copies of my book, South of Market, as stocking-fillers. Nick Hudson on the AI Bubble and the Surveillance State
As trailed a week or so ago I’m delighted to feature a new interview with Nick Hudson, Founder of Panda. In the interview we kick off by looking at the ever-expanding AI/Tech Bubble - before focusing on Nick’s ‘State of the World’ maxims. I hope you find it a fascinating discussion. Many of the themes that Nick discusses are also plot elements in my new novel, South of Market. I recently reduced the retail price of the paperback - so it would make an excellent stocking-filler for Christmas. Some say it’s the best Libertarian novel since Atlas Shrugged. More information and how to buy here… I’m delighted to announce that The New Era has a new affiliate partnership with Proton in Switzerland. This means that if you click on an affiliate link we get a revenue share if you decide to subscribe to Proton’s email, VPN, Drive or Pass Products. Disinformation and the BBC
In the light of resignations from the BBC, surely it’s time to address the elephant in the room as far as the BBC is concerned - its systematic censorship and misinformation campaign relating to the COVID “pandemic”? Back in July 2021 we published an article here on The New Era asking why the Corporation seemed to be given carte blanche to broadcast unrelenting propaganda about COVID-19. Even when members of the royal family were allowed to publicly criticise the corporation about various misdemeanours in the past (e.g. the circumstances leading up to the Princess Diana interview with Martin Bashir), the one issue that’s never addressed is why the Corporation had editorial lines in lockstep with the State, the US Tech Bros, and the international mainstream media re. the lockdowns and vaccination rollout?According to Twitter today, “BBC Director General Tim Davie and News CEO Deborah Turness resigned on Sunday following a Telegraph investigation that exposed a deceptive edit in the 2021 Panorama documentary ‘Trump’s American Carnage.’ The edit spliced two parts of President Donald Trump’s January 6 speech, 54 minutes apart, to imply he incited violence at the Capitol by combining phrases about walking to the Capitol with ‘fight like hell.’ An internal BBC memo labeled the alteration misleading and raised concerns about bias in coverage of Trump, Israel, and other topics, prompting divided UK reactions including calls to defund the broadcaster and defenses of its public role.”However, thousands of people, hundreds of thousands even, across the United Kingdom, took to the streets in protest about the government lockdowns in 2020 and coerced vaccination after 2021. The BBC failed to cover the protests - or the protestations relating to the loss of free speech. In 2020, I was one of many regular BBC ‘commentators’ who questioned the government’s “COVID” response, who was deplatformed live, on-air, for having the audacity to say-so.Given that the BBC DG has resigned because of a misleading edit relating to the US President, it’s clear that resignations only follow as a result of offence caused to the latest rebrand of the US establishment. But the abject loss of any journalistic integrity at the BBC from March 2020 requires no change at the top. I’m leaving this post open for comments. What do you think? Claus Hetting on Tech for Liberty
In this video Claus Hetting and I discussed the impact of technology on society, focusing on its use for control and surveillance, leading to concerns about a “dystopian society,” censorship, and the proposed development of digital IDs. We also explored the reasons for the tech community’s silence, including dependence on government contracts, and the challenges faced by smaller tech companies. Claus and I are hoping to collaborate on a new ‘coalition’ of like-minded business people called “Technology for Liberty” - a campaign group and ‘think tank’ aimed at educating the public about technological control and surveillance.I wrote about this a few weeks ago here. Please make yourself known if you’d like to get involved (and several have already - we’ll get back to you ASAP). --To be sure you get informed about Tech for Liberty and all our posts, please do subscribe. David Kurten Interview
David Kurten is leader of the Heritage Party and has been a staunch supporter of freedom and human liberty since the government imposed lockdowns in 2020. David is also the only UK party leader to take a strong stand against Zionism and the Israeli attacks on the people of Gaza. I took the opportunity to ask David about his views on the Chagos Island, the Mandelson debacle, Reform Party shenanigans and the upcoming Heritage Party Conference on September 20th.I also asked David about the Charlie Kirk assassination. Full Interview with Gareth Icke
I recently appeared on Ickonic with Gareth Icke to discuss my new novel, South of Market. (By the way, some eagle-eyed viewers may wonder why I was showing so much leg. Well, I’d just flown back to the UK from a holiday in Greece and had literally packed just shorts. So apologies for the beach attire). But if you can overlook my fashion choice hopefully you’ll enjoy the interview. We discuss the book - but also some of the reasons I wrote it. Gareth and I discuss some pretty heavy topics in the interview, such as propaganda, false flag events, Epstein, Trump and the crisis at the heart of democracy. Further details about the book - and how to order - are below. This is a public episode. Advance and the Technocrats
Ben Habib is the former Deputy Leader of Reform and was a candidate for Reform in the last general election. However, he has now formed a new political party, Advance, and plans to register with the Electoral Commission having garnered close to 30,000 members. Part of the reason for the rapid increase in members is because of the endorsement of Elon Musk - who has tweeted his support (to his millions of followers) for Ben, Advance and Rupert Lowe MP. Musk has also expressed a view that Nigel Farage is no longer fit for purpose. In the interview I ask Ben about the loss of a free media, about his relationship with Musk and about any concerns he might have about doing business with the PayPal Mafia. This is a public episode. Gareth Icke on Farage and Reform
I was delighted to chat with Gareth Icke last week in the Ickonic studios about the launch of my new book, South of Market. However, just a couple days after the interview I was contacted by a former insider in the Reform Party (formerly the Brexit Party) about Nigel Farage’s relationship with Peter Thiel - chief architect of the global Technocracy cult. This gave rise to my article published a few days ago: In Ickonic’s ‘Trending’ programme this morning Gareth referred to the article and the whistleblower’s revelation about a long-term relationship between Farage and Thiel. I’ve clipped the sequence here. My own interview on Ickonic is here. This is a public episode. Structural Deep Event
Since March 2020 many of us knew that we were being subjected to a major propaganda operation when governments rolled out the fear campaign around the manufactured Covid pandemic. Covid represented what Piers Robinson, of the Organisation for Propaganda Studies, calls a Structural Deep event. These are propaganda events that change the course of human history and population control. In this conversation I ask Piers to define structural deep events and also to tell me a bit more about the conference he’s organising in Washington DC this year on 9/11 - involving several 9/11 truth and justice organisations.Get tickets to the event here.My recently published novel, South of Market, is a fictional account (based on fact) of how technocratic agendas are being pursued through propaganda campaigns and government sanctioned terrorism. The book is available now in Kindle and Paperback on Amazon. This is a public episode. Post-Truth
For those of you who read my writings or listen to my podcasts on The New Era, you’ll know that my main focus of attention, of late, has been on technocracy - and particularly the technocratic agenda being peddled - not just by governments but by the Tech Bros. My new book, South of Market, has been a work in process for the last 9 months or so. The book is now published in both paperback and Kindle editions.Governments are increasingly in thrall to the companies providing the means of controlling the masses: the surveillance companies, machine-based intelligence organisations (that call themselves AI companies) and digital money peddlers. Oh and digital ID snooping outfits like Palantir. But as the main subject of a novel, I knew that it would have to be relevant for readers - conveyed via characters that I’d have to create, and to which the readers would have to relate. As Tim O’Brien has said, “fiction is for getting at the truth when the truth isn’t sufficient for the truth.”There’s a maxim that we can only write about what we know. So the characters I created are essentially amalgams of people with whom I’ve worked, or got to know, in a long career in tech - much of which was conducted in the world’s main tech and media centres in the UK and the United States. My job, throughout most of my career, was to peddle the messages I needed amplified, through the media. So I know the process. I know just how slick, and sharp, the personalities can be.What I tried to do in South of Market, was to populate the book with people - the main heroes of the piece - who reacted, broadly, in the same way as I did when the Covid event was manipulated into being by the media and the Tech Bros who control it.So I created Anna, an LSE Alumnus who becomes hot property in Tech Comms because she’s beautiful, intelligent, and went to the right type of school. Then there’s Rahul, the coder turned business developer, who is just too well educated to accept irrational nonsense from people peddling certainty. There’s Mark, the self-made businessman and crypto-speculator, who knows that the only route to attention-grabbing is to be very, very rich. And Jenny, Mark’s enigmatic Comms Head, who has something of a dark past. For my own part, I was only able to cling-on to a paid role, post-Covid, for a few months. I was just unable to button my lip when London went into another lockdown in December 2020. My characters also face similar dilemmas, so I provide them with apparent routes out. Although some of the routes turn out to be dead-ends or blind alleys. But what they all realise is that they need to find out the truth and communicate it far and wide. The media - upon which they have depended in various ways - has become a processor of lies and a promulgator of manufactured fears. The central theme of the book is the reactions that people have when they’re robbed of agency - the ability to make their own decisions, to live their lives like they want to live them. We see the consequences when government coerces and the effects when rules, regulations and surveillance are applied to people that just want to get on with running businesses or creating wealth or having a drink in a bar.In short, the four main characters in the book know that the world is at a turning point - with the rubicon ‘event’ an invented virus, and an invented public health crisis that allows governments and media to peddle lies as though they were universal truths. Lurking behind the scenes, though, are dark actors and corporations that define the agenda, land-grabbing and thieving of assets to suit their own purposes and line their own pockets. In writing South of Market, I’ve tried to create modern day libertarian heroes that have chosen to fight battles for the right to think, the right to hold counter views and the ability to hold truth to power. If you read the book please let me know what you think. And please review it. And spread the word if you think it works and makes some valid points. I enjoyed writing it. This is a public episode. Restore Britain?
Rupert Lowe’s new ‘Restore Britain’ organisation seems to be more about raising money from Lowe’s naive fan-base than addressing the malaise at the heart of our political discourse: a lurch towards sectarianism and identity politics. Restore Britain, as it happens, is built on the political CRM system, NationBuilder, that was initially funded by Peter Thiel and his Technocratic buddies in Silicon Valley. Technocracy doesn’t much like democracy - preferring technology-enabled dictatorships. I discussed Lowe’s latest money-making venture this morning on Sonia Poulton’s Wake-Up programme. The Agenda
I’m sharing Oracle Film’s new documentary here on The New Era, The Agenda. I’m also leaving the comments open so you can tell me, and Oracle Films, what you think. Here’s a little more about the background to the piece, from Oracle Films. The Agenda: Their Vision | Your Future is a feature-length independent documentary produced by Mark Sharman; former UK broadcasting executive at ITV and Sky (formerly BSkyB).In fiction and fact, there have always been people and organisations with ambitions to control the world. And now the oligarchs who pull the strings of finance and power finally have the tools to achieve their global objectives; omnipresent surveillance, artificial intelligence, digital currency and ultimately digital identities. The potential for social control of our lives and minds is alarmingly real. The plan has been decades in the making and has seen infiltration of Governments, local councils, big business, civil society, the media and, crucially, education. A ceaseless push for a new reality, echoing Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World, or George Orwell’s 1984.The Agenda: Their Vision | Your Future examines the digital prison which awaits us if we do not push back right now. How your food, energy, money, travel and even your access to the internet could be limited and controlled; how financial power is strangling democracy and how global institutions like the World Health Organisation are commandeered to champion ideological and fiscal objectives. The centrepiece is man-made climate change and with it, the race to Net Zero. Both are encapsulated in the United Nations and its Agenda 2030. A force for good? Or “a blank cheque for totalitarian global control”?The Agenda presents expert views from the UK, the USA and Europe. This is a public episode. To The Moon: The Gamestop Saga
Josh Hamilton is a writer and podcaster who developed a fascination with the Gamestop saga back in 2021. Back then, Gamestop stock was being actively shorted by speculative investors, and a Reddit thread, exposing the level of shorting, resulted in a market pile-on - resulting in a massive increase in the company’s stock price. But the saga didn’t end there. Josh has been writing a book about the Gamestop madness - due for publication later this year. It culminates in the decision by Gamestop to plough quite a bit of the company’s accumulated cash holdings into bitcoin. I chatted with him about the book, about the insights it might provide about market rigging, digital money, CBDCs and bitcoin. We don’t always agree. Charlotte Emma in Conversation
Many TNE readers will be aware of Charlotte Emma from Twitter/X. She’s been one of the most effective and visible campaigners for the ‘freedom movement’ - especially since she left her ‘normie’ job in 2023. She has worked with James Delingpole, TNT Radio and ICKONIC. But she’s probably best known for her pithy tweets and withering take-downs of the controlled media and its most visible mouthpieces. Charlotte recently started her own substack and has written long-form pieces about Tony Blair’s most recent Digital ID Crusade - as well as Douglas Murray’s most recent appearance on the Joe Rogan Show (alongside the comedian, Dave Smith). Our conversation discusses both of these posts as well as the Georgia Guidestones, the Story of The Committee of 300 and other pointers to a dystopian future. You can download the book about Committee 300 from the CIA website here.If you enjoy the conversation and our other posts on The New Era please consider a paid subscription. Gaza land-grab for 'stability'
There are clearly some competing agendas in the new Trump administration. But there’s no competition when it comes to Middle East policy. I’ve just watched some of the President’s press conference with Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu. When asked on whose authority he was taking Gaza, and resettling its citizens elsewhere, he avoided the substance of the question - making clear that he was establishing stability. There was no sense that he was even aware of what had been causing the instability - namely the indiscriminate carpet-bombing of the Gaza strip by an Israeli air force armed to the teeth with American-made weapons.Of course, this was always going to be the outcome. The new Trump administration was probably hand-picked by Howard Lutnick in cahoots with Mossad and Netanyahu himself.Whitney Webb summed-up the situation well in a tweet earlier:A US "long term ownership plan" of Gaza is just a nicer way of saying another US long-term military occupation of the Middle East on behalf of Israel. If you think this will bring "stability" to the Middle East, you learned nothing from the "War on Terror" era at all. This policy toward Gaza is so extremely neoconservative it goes even beyond the Bush Era…back then they at least had to feign occupations were justified by allegedly going after the US's "invisible enemies”. In a separate media briefing Trump also previewed his possible assassination by Iran (see above). Ironically, a staged Iran assassination is something that Miri AF predicted in her recent interview for this site: This is a public episode. Just 24 Hours
Just 24 hours after the inauguration of Donald Trump as President of the United States - for a second term - a press conference was called announcing Stargate. This took many MAGA supporters by surprise, following an inauguration address that seemed to give the core voters what they most demanded i.e. a restoration of American sovereignty. Stargate seemed to be spawned by the same billionaires that spent years supporting the Biden regime and his globalist agenda. Globalism, it seemed, was to be replaced by a world dominating American surveillance AI. I asked Miri Finch (of MiriAF fame) if she thought Trump 2.0 might be replacing globalism with technocracy. As expected, she had some very strident views. Could it be that Donald Trump, Elon Musk, Keir Starmer and the rest are but players on a stage? Stargate Derangement Syndrome
Well, that’s it. Just when we thought Trump might be restoring some common sense - like overturning woke nonsense and withdrawing from the WHO - it now looks like the Tech Bros are showing who’s really in charge. It took just 24 hours. The launch of Stargate is, clearly, a product of the swamp-wallowing technology firms that demand that as much as possible US fiscal deficit be spent on them and their Military Industrial Complex buddies. This morning it’s Larry Ellison’s deranged nonsense about mRNA-based cancer beating wonder drugs that’s all over Twitter. Ellison argues that these AI-developed drugs will emerge from a vast infrastructure project for American AI capability - called Stargate. But the need for such capability will be more focused on global-scale surveillance projects - no doubt overseen by CIA-funded entities like Palantir.Trump stood reverentially to the side of Ellison nodding approval for the self-evident b******t that Ellison spouted - just as Trump nodded approval for Project Warp Speed, Anthony Fauci’s inspired plan to rapidly develop mRNA “vaccines” to cure a non-existent “virus” called “COVID-19”. Larry Ellison, remember, was also one of the big funders of Theranos, the medical diagnostic scamming company that managed to dupe other tech titans and media moguls (like Rupert Murdoch) into investing into a crock of s**t posing as a medical testing company. But, be in no doubt, the Technocrats have taken over from the woke globalists. One wonders what kompromat Trump might have hanging over him - and how long it might be before Peter Thiel protégé, JD Vance, takes charge. The future’s not bright, and it may not be orange for much longer. If you enjoy what I do here on The New Era, please consider paying a few quid for a paid subscription. America to withdraw from WHO
Of all the (mostly very welcome) Executive Orders signed by Donald Trump yesterday one stands out. Karen Kingston provides a very useful insight into the WHO Withdrawal Order and what it means. I’m going to be commenting more on Trump’s inauguration day in the coming days. I’ll hopefully round up a few of the more active members of the medical freedom community for more comment. Musk: MAGAmaniac
Elon Musk’s interventions in UK politics have been in full play for several weeks. First there was his backing for a new general election in the UK - designed to oust the woke globalist, Keir Starmer. Then there was Musk’s schmoozin’ with Reform Party Leader, Nigel Farage, at Mar-a-Lago. And, over the weekend, was the revelation that Musk had no confidence in Farage’s leadership of Reform. This despite Trump being a Farage fan-boy. However, the knives appear to be out for Farage within the Reform Party. Ben Habib, despite his failing to be elected to Westminster after several attempts, has made clear that he has more confidence in Musk than in Farage - thereby launching a de facto leadership challenge. Rupert Lowe MP also appears to be running a provisional leadership election campaign. However, this is made rather tricky by the fact that Farage essentially owns the Reform Party limited company. And Farage also commands quite a powerful position within GBNews as one of its star anchors. Meanwhile much of the (ex-UKIP) Zionists in the Party seem to be rallying around Tommy Robinson - as well as Trump. And now Andrew Tate has announced he’s planning on forming a new political party - allowing him to “run as Prime Minister”. In short, Musk’s intervention in UK politics has caused untold mayhem - and potential regime change. In this interview with Sonia Poulton we discuss what Musk’s end-game might be. Freedom Alliance Leadership Interview
Catherine Evans of the Freedom Alliance describes her new(ish) libertarian political party as adopting a ‘hybrid’ model. It’s not a doctrinal, authoritarian or ideologically driven party. Rather, it seeks to provide support to candidates that may (or may not) campaign under its banner. But, more importantly, it allows people to get involved in politics who wouldn’t ordinarily be involved. The unifying objective is to bring politics back down to local level - giving voice to communities and ‘locales’ against the corporate leviathan of the Uniparty. Catherine, and her Party Treasurer, Martin Davies, articulate a world-view that’s shared by many across the United Kingdom: that the Covid lockdowns and vaccine mandates represented an “enough is enough” moment. Both were motivated to speak out and campaign or stand in the park to meet the like-minded. Neither underestimates the task at hand. But both believe it’s all about the candidates. They’ll stand aside if strong independents make themselves known - and are willing to make the case for free thinking and free speech. But they are also assembling a roster of candidates willing to act as an irritant to the Uniparty system - a system now intent on war-mongering, Net Zero and digital IDs. They’ll be especially active in local government elections in May next year. It’s encouraging to meet people who see through the market rigging that’s in play by the three main UK political parties. We also discuss the Reform Party’s dalliance with Elon Musk (and presumably Peter Thiel, who pulls the strings of the Trump administration). Aaron Day on the #FreeRoger Campaign
When Roger Ver published his book, Hijacking Bitcoin, earlier in the year, he clearly offended certain ‘powers that be’ in the Bitcoin Maximalist community. As Aaron suggests in this interview, this ‘community’ is likely to include the financial establishment and the intelligence agencies. Bitcoin’s bull market is in no small part because of a market pumping operation - firmly establishing bitcoin as a “store of value” rather than its intended purpose to be a universal, private, peer-to-peer currency. Bob Moran on Trump and Musk
It all started on X. Apparently Allison Pearson, Telegraph hack, was facing an investigation by police over a tweet/X-post. But I smelt a rat. So did Bob Moran. So he suggested a chat on a TNE podcast. And here it is. It’s an odd tale and one that Elon Musk weighed-into as well. Bob explains in the podcast. He also discusses some of Trump’s new appointments, JD Vance, and more. Bob also talks about his new book. New Era or New World Order?
I chatted with Sonia Poulton last Friday about Trump’s re-election to the White House. Events have overtaken this to some extent. But a big question mark still hangs over Howard Lutnick’s role in the administration (he’s tipped to transition from Head of Trump’s transition team to be Treasury Secretary). Meanwhile Zionist Hawk Marco Rubio managed to land the State Department job rather than Mike Pompeo. But questions remain about RFKJr’s potential role in the new Trump administration. And more fundamental questions need to be asked about DOGE…Elon Musk’s memecoin-named Government Efficiency gig. Truly bizarre. The dollar stablecoin is also going to become a major political consequence of Musk and Lutnick’s proximity to government. Whitney Webb and Mark Goodwin have been drawing attention to the back-door approach to CBDCs by this administration - as well as Larry Fink’s “going direct” asset acquisition jamboree. I highly recommend this video. It’s long, but highly informative. This is a public episode. Swearing (after she was told not to)
Yesterday I, at last, caught up with Abi Roberts to discuss the publication of We the People…a collection of letter testimonies from people affected by the Covid lockdowns, mandates and ‘vaccines’.The book was compiled by Abi, designed by Martin Baker and features illustrations by Bob Moran. In the interview we also discuss Abi’s arrest at the COVID-19 Inquiry, continued creeping authoritarianism across the UK, and the Cambridge Union ‘debate’ on mandatory vaccination. Abi also reads one of the ‘letters from dystopia’ featured in the book (Trudi, page 41). We the People is available (at cost price for the printed versions) or free (for the digital versions). The links are below. I recommend it highly. And please circulate details of the book to everyone you know…especially doctors, teachers and MPs. Cambridge Union Mandatory Vax Vote
Many of you will be aware that the Cambridge Union recently held a debate where the motion was, “This House Would Make Vaccinations Mandatory”. We realise that Cambridge is quite a recruitment ground for big state authoritarians and spooks. But, still, it was quite the thing that the votes in favour of mandatory vaccination (on the evening of the debate) were so much in favour of the fascist state motion. But now, apparently, the vote has changed. In my interview with Abi Roberts this morning she made me aware that she had uncovered what appears to be a recount. And the results are radically different. It appears that the votes against the motion were 199, versus 118 in favour. So the motion was, apparently, heavily defeated. Abi and I would like to know the true story. Was the Cambridge Union (and the student population that attended) spooked at being called neo-fascists on social media for voting for a policy that would breach every human rights convention? Or do the (new) results reflect the actual vote? Why was another result reported on the evening? Curiouser and curiouser…the Cambridge Union also seems to have removed the page relating to the debate on its website. This is a public episode. Vested interests..
Until a year ago, Mark Astley was CEO of one of London’s biggest money management firms, Millennium Global Investments - until his retirement from the firm. He oversaw the operations of a business that had £20 billion under management. He has a well deserved reputation as one of the brightest and most articulate macro-economic analysts in international financial markets. Mark has just completed an exclusive interview with The New Era and covered the demise of fiat money; money-printing and inflation; dollar hegemony; the mushrooming of public debt; and the outlook for other asset classes including gold, bitcoin, energy and silver. His insight into geopolitics is remarkable. We’re going to be releasing the interview in a series of short episodes. You can watch the full 80 minute interview from tomorrow if you’re a paying subscriber. The first short sequence is Mark’s assessment of Labour’s £22 billion “fiscal black hole”. Tomorrow I’ll post Mark’s assessment of a Trump victory - and the likely geopolitical and fiscal consequences. This is a public episode. Paul Frew MLA
I should have interviewed Paul Frew well before now. Paul has probably been the only elected representative in the United Kingdom to take a consistent stand against lockdowns, vaccine mandates and “pandemic response” state overreach. In the darkest times Paul has been a beacon for free speech, free thinking and libertarian values. He has been wholly consistent over the last four years and is now joining the campaign against the proposed NI Health Bill - being championed by the Ulster Unionist Party (UUP). We discuss why it is that the UUP, traditionally the sister party of the Conservative Party in Britain, has been so motivated to introduce highly authoritarian measures - during the Covid years and now. A UUP Minister, Robin Swann, presided over the state sanctioned tyranny during the Covid years. The UUP was insistent on taking the Health Ministry again when the hapless Assembly regrouped in January (after a two year suspension - the latest of many). The proposed Health Bill is being trail-blazed at a time when Northern Ireland - in common with other parts of the UK and Ireland - is wrestling with the destruction caused by “pandemic” response. Rates of suicide among young people have spiralled, vaccine injury has been ignored or brushed under the carpet, and the health service is dealing with chronic waiting lists for a host of procedures. Meanwhile the UUP Minister, Mike Nesbitt, is rushing through a Bill to give the state the power to force entry into people’s homes, inflict involuntary medical procedures on them and potentially forcibly vaccinate them if the Health Department declares a COVID-like health crisis. The attention of the world is on Northern Ireland. The draft legislation is straight from the WHO’s pandemic response copy-book. So, naturally, the freedom movement around the world wants to see this thing stopped as soon as possible. In this interview Paul gives us the latest status on the legislation - and his determination to bog it down at every scrutiny stage if the Minister insists on bringing the Bill to draft or presenting it in the legislative chamber. Consulting for Dystopia
The European Convention on Human Rights is an international treaty between state members of the Council of Europe. The Council of Europe is NOT the EU - it’s an international human rights organisation. The United Kingdom was one of the first nations to sign the Convention - over 70 years ago. The Convention was codified into UK law in 1998 with the Human Rights Act. The Human Rights Act 1998 sets out the fundamental rights and freedoms that everyone in the UK is entitled to. It incorporates the rights set out in the European Convention on Human Rights into British law. Article 3 of The Act protects citizens of the United Kingdom from torture and inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment. According to the Equality and Human Rights Commission: Public authorities must not inflict this sort of treatment on you. They must also protect you if someone else is treating you in this way. If they know this right is being breached, they must intervene to stop it. The state must also investigate credible allegations of such treatment (including by third parties). However, now it appears that the Northern Ireland Executive is planning to override the rights defined by Article 3 of the Human Rights Act by proposing that in circumstances of a public health threat - that the state will itself define - that British citizens may be subject to inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment. The consultation document argues that a new Health Bill is required because of the emergence of public health threats necessitating the removal of human rights. The consultation document overtly refers to SARS as one such threat. In March 2020, of course, the UK government advised the UK public to lock down - not attend work or school or places of worship - because of what they claimed was a new novel SARS virus: SARS Cov 2 (or Covid 19). People who tested positive for this so-called viral infection were deemed to be diseased and required to quarantine - even though few showed any serious symptoms of disease. It soon became clear that those “infected” were at very little risk of any serious illness. The infection fatality rate - especially among the young - was negligible. Many questioned whether the true virus was in fact government-run testing programmes and fear campaigns undertaken by state-controlled media. In this context proposed public health legislation designed to deal with public health “threats” like SARS seem thoroughly ill-advised. The Northern Ireland Bill proposes draconian new powers that would allow authorities to enter the premises of “contaminated persons”, that such persons submit to medical examinations, be removed to other establishments, be “decontaminated” and be denied the right to work. All of these things could be ordered on the basis of someone testing “positive” for something from a PCR test - or simply holding views that might deem them to be a public health threat. It’s clear that if this type of legislation is enacted in Northern Ireland other parts of the UK will follow - Northern Ireland will be a test case. But, being a test case for the removal of the most fundamental human rights - the right not to be subject to torture or degrading treatment - is a horrific move towards de facto totalitarianism. This proposed law is a bad law. And, also, people working towards introducing this law - civil servants, government lawyers and elected representatives - are acting unlawfully. They are proposing the destruction of human rights laws designed to protect our freedoms after the horrors of the 2nd World War. Please, regardless of where you are in the UK, write to your elected representatives and make it known that Article 3 of the Human Rights Act must be inviolable - in every corner of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The UN 'Pact for the Future'
The UN is having an even more lavish boondoggle than normal in New York designed to rubber-stamp various globalist treatises. In addition to a ‘Digital Compact’ it’s rolling out yet another global future vision document - The UN Pact for the Future - that will quickly be ignored. Because, let’s face it, the UN is hardly exactly succeeding in its central mission of keeping the peace between nations. There’s no money in that. The new Pact is all about ticking various corporate agenda boxes relating to digital ID, generative AI, ‘pandemic’ control, and global warming. However, as Sonia and I discuss (in the sequence above) from her WAKE UP show today, it’s beginning to feel that the globalist messaging is losing its lustre. The Irish government has dropped its anti-free-speech legislation; the reaction against Keir Starmer’s corporatism is cutting right across the political spectrum; and the response to Hollywood’s growing sex-crime scandal is reaching fever-pitch. More locally, the NI Health Department’s proposed Health Bill is being derided by everyone as one of the most grotesque examples of government overreach ever seen in the United Kingdom. Meanwhile, the UN pact just looks like bureaucrat driven clap-trap. Anyway, we cover a lot of ground. Enjoy. This is a public episode. Reform and the Indie Factor
As trailed yesterday I popped onto Sonia Poulton’s Wake Up programme and livestream this morning to pick over the election results. The chat is featured here. We focused on the success of independent candidates on the left - winning on the strength of their protest votes on the Gaza issue. Keir Starmer also saw a significant dent in his majority because of Gaza/anti-Zionist campaigner, Andrew Feinstein. And Jeremy Corbyn was victorious in Islington. On the right, of course, the big story was the success of Nigel Farage and the Reform Party. But, of course, this didn’t turn into much in terms of seats won (currently sitting at just 4 seats despite polling more votes than the Lib Dems, with 71 seats currently). The Conservatives and SNP, meanwhile, were pushed to the political side-lines. The abiding feeling is that Sunak was simply passing the baton to Starmer. Both Conservative and Labour Parties are now clearly Corporatist/Globalist aligned - in thrall to the Military Industrial Complex and carbon lobby. It’ll be left to a bunch of indies and Reformers to provide something of an opposition. Feel free to comment…I’ve left them open for paid and free subscribers. This is a public episode. When the Party's Over
Over the last 4 years there have been people who have spoken out about the loss of freedom - and loss of free speech - overseen by our globalist government and echoed by a globalist Labour Party opposition. Many people who stood up against the tyranny of the last 4+ years are standing for election - mostly as independents or under the banner of the smaller political parties. In this short video I discuss the part being played by independent voices in the election with David Kurten, Leader of the Heritage Party, and Sonia Poulton (Wake Up with Sonia Poulton). Please give it a listen. The message is simple: consider voting for a candidate who knows the constituency, is an independent voice and a free thinker. Those are things that are made very difficult by being a member (or candidate) for a big, inflexible, political party. You may also wish to listen-in to Sonia’s morning programme tomorrow (Friday) when we’ll be engaging in a bit of post-election chit-chat about winners, losers and breakthrough candidates. I’ll be on from shortly after 9am. This is a public episode. If you'd like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit www.thenewera.uk/subscribe

Aisling O'Loughlin in Conversation
Yesterday I published a piece about how, in my view, BBC journalists may find themselves in court if the Hillsborough Law is applied in the United Kingdom. BBC journalists have been at the forefront of the campaign over the last 4+ years to spread fear, and to force the population to suspend free thinking and succumb to medical coercion. But the BBC’s failure in its duty of candour may well land its apparatchiks in jail - here’s hoping. However, not all journalists were willing to put up with the propagandising of the last four years. Aisling O’Loughlin was a news anchor on an Irish TV station for six years; a celebrity interview red carpet reporter; and a major newspaper columnist. But then she gave it all up to call out a media industry that seemed intent to rob us of our ability to think. Aisling was unwilling to accept the unrelenting fear propaganda and globalist clap-trap being peddled by her former employers in Ireland - and their opposite numbers in the UK and beyond. When Covid hit she was living in France where Covid restrictions made it feel like she was living in rehashed Vichy regime. She decided it was time to return home to Ireland and use her skills as a communicator to speak out about the need to challenge nonsense masquerading as news. This is a fascinating conversation with a wonderful free-thinker. Aisling calls on us all to keep a watching brief on our shared humanity as the globalists try to destroy our nations and our right to free speech and thought.Be sure to subscribe to Aisling’s substack here. Jonny Woodrow
Jonny Woodrow is a writer, commentator and podcaster who discusses the role of comedy speaking truth to power. And, for the early part of our conversation on this podcast, we discuss this - but then go off on something of a tangent (or several). But it’s interesting nonetheless. Incidentally, Jonny mentions ‘Abi’ in the early part of the podcast - he’s referring to Abi Roberts. Jonny tends to start from the premise that truth, beauty and a moral order are part of the fabric of the world. But we’re currently in a period, he argues - a new era - where global leaders (typically technocrats) have forgotten this. And many people don’t seem to have noticed that things have gone distinctly strange. Jonny and I come at this discussion from slightly different perspectives but arrive at a similar conclusion. Jonny has a background in theology and Christian philosophy. Whereas I tend to look at things from an ethical humanist perspective. But both of us in this chat bemoan the fact that leading politicians seem intent on telling us how to think - and want to engage in nation-building to their own technocratic specifications (even Nigel Farage). As Jonny puts it, they tend to believe that humanity is “stock to be managed”. However, we all have moral compasses and yearn for our political discourse to get back on the rails again after the last four years of authoritarianism. Quite a few of the UK’s current crop of would-be stock managers and media manipulators get a mention in this chat. The conversation ranges from Kant, to Calvin Robinson to Jordan Peterson. Oh and Nigel Farage. A great moral and philosophical primer in the lead-up to the UK 2024 general election. Enjoy. I’m leaving the comments open on this one - to all subscribers (paid and free). BBC Verified Colonialism
Many of us were made very angry when a BBC hit-piece was published about Kenyan farmer Jusper Machogu last week. Written by Marco Silva of the BBC’s “Verify” team the piece vilified Jusper - a small-holding Kenyan farmer - for having the temerity to challenge climate alarmism that has become the BBC’s stock-in-trade. Silva then created a thread on Twitter to spread more climate alarmism. The article made clear that the BBC (funded to the tune of £5.7billion per annum by the UK taxpayer) was “tracking conversations” by Jusper on Twitter/X. This tracking activity showed that Jusper’s social media activity had considerable international reach - particularly to those of us who agree with Jusper that the international climate alarmism community is becoming increasingly nasty - and ‘owned’ by corporatist interests in the ‘green’ lobby. Jusper’s eloquence and concern for his family and fellow-citizens shines through. He’s a farmer, his toil is unending, and he’d like to make enough money so that his Mother might visit the Masai Mara - like the millions of visitors who fly in from the West on hydrocarbon-fuel powered jumbo jets. Jusper, and his mother, are smallholding farmers in Kenya. Like many farmers in Africa they are forced to rely on toil rather than technology to farm their lands. While this has been seen, in the past, as a barrier to feeding African citizens, now the international community of climate alarmists have joined in the fray to ensure that African farmers remain subsistence farmers in perpetuity. Farm machinery should be electric powered, they argue. Electricity should be generated from cattle-dung - not oil or gas. Fertilisers should be taxed to reflect their role in ‘climate change’. The consequence is declining use of fertiliser, higher barriers to entry for farm machinery, less reliable electricity production - and hunger. The Marco Silva hit-piece on Jusper Machogu named Joyce Kimutai - a researcher at the University of Capetown - as a voice of reason in the anthropogenic climate change community. Silva noted that Ms Kimutai had even submitted papers to the IPCC. However, Ms Kimutai's research is defined in the context that man-made climate change is a given and there's universal scientific consensus around manmade climate change causality (which is clearly nonsense). Silva presents the climate emergency catastrophist community as good; Jusper Machogu as bad (particularly for doing something unforgivable in the eyes of the BBC Verify team i.e. his own research). Silva also notes that Jusper raised some £7,000 from donations to help him with his campaigning and support for other farmers in Africa. But, to date, Jusper has been unable to access any of this money from the donation platform on which it was raised. Silva failed to mention how much Ms Silva is paid as a staffer on the ACDI (African Climate and Development Initiative) at the University of Capetown - itself funded by the UK government through the Global Challenges Research Fund. So it appears to be perfectly acceptable to be paid by an initiative funded by the UK government but not to raise money from donors willing to support a small-holding farmer in Kenya speaking common sense. As Jusper makes clear in the article, it’s much easier these days to make money by jumping on the climate catastrophe bandwagon than to express any degree of common sense or critical thinking. And, of course, Marco Silva, himself, is paid by the BBC to spread ad hominem attacks on social media against hard-working strivers like Jusper hoping to just get by - and perhaps raise enough money to buy a tractor. Jusper is clearly very well educated and highly intelligent. He can also smell neo-colonialist propaganda from self-appointed moral guardians a mile away. Jusper is used to b******t. He’s forced to use it to fertilise his crops, for one thing. If, like me, you find patronising, colonialist character assassinations by BBC shills highly annoying, you’ll enjoy Jusper’s interview. Bob Moran is a satirical cartoonist who shot to fame across the world when the Covid tyranny began. As the lead cartoonist on the Telegraph (and then as a freelancer) he articulated better than we could our outrage about government overreach, vaccine coercion and the assault on freedom, particularly the freedom of children. As we enter the hustings period in the lead-up to a UK general election I wanted to get Bob’s perspective on where we are in terms of democracy and party politics. GE2024: Keith Tordoff MBE
Keith Tordoff’s wife keeps asking him why he’s involved in politics - when he could be enjoying other things less stressful and less challenging. In this interview he provides the answer. He wants to break the party-political stranglehold of his community. You soon get the message that Keith is a proud Yorkshireman. He’s been working in the community for decades and he wants to apply his knowledge of how to get things done…in his constituency. However, the problem is that the Conservative, Labour and Reform candidates want to treat Skipton & Ripon like any other target seat. As a safe Conservative seat it’s no longer ‘safe’ given the unholy mess the Conservatives have made of things. That makes it a target win for ex-SPAD MP-wannabes, regardless of political hue. But Keith’s not going to make it easy for them. Yes the ballot paper will be cluttered. But, then, so was Rochdale’s in its recent by-election. That seat was won by (effectively) an independent (admittedly one who, annoyingly, has his own political party) - George Galloway. The runner-up, however, was an independent.
