Carlos joined us again and gave us his experince at the KY Derby. It was amazing to hear how he was given a view that most of us don't get! From the time he got to Churchill Downs, Carlos was like a sponge, taking in everything, and really living in the moment. Up and coming Jockey, Sara Hess, joins us this week. Sara shares her journey through horse racing and how she got her start. We noticed her a couple years ago and have been excited to see her progression. After being rained out of her first attempt at going to a race, Carolyn, one of my 7 OG followers, was able to attend a race and get a full feel of what being at the races is all about. She watched Squeaky Bill's first time starter race. She took in her experience and was kind enough to share what it was like.She also went to the backside of the track and saw a glimpse of what happens behind the scenes. It didn't stop there! She made her way to the racing office and chatted with some of the workers about licensing and horse ID. She had a blast and looks forward to next time.Maybe we have a future horse owner in the works?And, of course, Squeaky Bill stopped in to update us on his barn.Enjoy!!

Justin is a journeyman jockey who grew up in a horse racing family. He gives us a little peek of his career and how he balances his life. It's great to hear how home is home and work is work. Roy gave us some information on his journey into horse racing. He is mostly into Quarter Horses but he does dabble in TB. He is trying to establish himself in the game and is on the rise in Indiana. His story is fantastic and we can't wait for updates.He also gave us his top 5 Derby contenders. Squeaky Bill joins us on the show. We had originally wanted to do it at Charles Town just after his race but the races were cancelled. We caught up with what's happening with his mares and the babies that just turned ONE, holy smokes! We're targeting a meet up to watch his 3 yo Paul race for the first time!We also chatted about his Derby Hopefuls. We have a few of the same that are on the radar and we're excited to see what happens.

Vernon Bush, a jockey with 47 years of experience and over 26,000 mounts, joins me on the show to give us a glance at his career. He is such a fan off racing that after he retired he was right back out there galloping horses!Vernon gives his opinion of what quality helps younger riders succeed. He also tells of how a jockey might think or envision the race happening as he's racing, it's fascinating!

Dominic is back with us today! We went over a few front running KY Derby favorites and a few Eclipse Awards Finalists.Also included were some picks for this week at Tampa Bay Downs and Laurel Park.

Racehorse owner, Mike Golovko, joins the show to talk about his up and comer, Om n Joy. His filly had an outstanding 3 yo campaign. The partnership group are excited for 2026 and have targeted the Beholder Stakes as their next race.We are going to follow Om n Joy this year and watch the progress!!

My lovely wife, Renee, who I'm madly in love with joins the show as we walk through our racing year. Squeaky Bill is back on the show today. He gave us an update about what's happening around his farm and with his 2 yo who is in training. He also mentioned he has a solid racer in a partnership and is excited to see the next race.Always good to catch up.

Eddie Davis is a trainer at Finger Lakes Race Track. He comes from a big Horse racing family and got his start by working under his father, Hall of Fame Jockey Robbie Davis.Eddie gave us a little insight of what it was like working with and around horses and a couple big moments from his career.

Newly nicknamed "Super fan" Dominic is back! He comes back to chat with me about our Friday LRL Park picks show and possibly turning it up to 11 with expansion picks covering multiple tracks.

Carlene works everyday giving care to horses. She has been around and working with horses for quite some time but only at the tracks for about a year. Her care and passion for horses is talked about on the show.

Andre The Jockey comes back to the show fresh off two wins! He gave us an update on what and how he's doing. He gave us a few long term goals for 2026 and one short term goal for 2025.

Dominic is the biggest horse racing fan in the DMV! He has been around the Mid Atlantic his whole life and brings the insight of a fan to the show. He gave us his knowledge on some of the top trainers in the area and some of his horses to watch.

Connor is a newbie to horse racing. We invited him to the track for the first time and asked him for his opinion and thoughts about his experience.

Carlos has 50+ years working with race horses. He gives us an insiders POV on how he maintains the fitness and health of younger horses he works with. He is very passionate about his horses and it can be heard through his interview.

Two experienced workers from Colonial Downs join the show on site! Ike gave us his story and a bit of a look of how he helps prepare the Jock's Room and equipment. Eric takes us on a trip through the shed row of a stable.It was great to finally do the show from a track! We'll definitely do it again.

Aidan gives use a glimpse of what he is working on to improve racing and perks in Virginia. He gave us information on current projects the association has implemented to assist the backside progress in the field along with what benefits are available for all personnel who spend the meet at Colonial Downs.I have a feeling VA racing is going to be progressing!

Jessica joins the show and gives us a look at how she got started in horse racing, how she prepares, and a bit of fun commentary about her career. She is super fun and brings good energy to the show.

"JoJo" gives us an update on his progress to achieve his goal of becoming a jockey. He's been super busy building a foundation and keeps his positive attitude while learning and training.

"Investor Trevor" joins us to talk about his racing journey and why he stepped away from racing. He also gives us an insight on life after the track and a few spots to check out for delicious eats in Saratoga Springs.

Paula is a wealth of information. She has done it all. Currently she represents a couple top riders at different tracks and informs us how she got into being an Agent.

Our friend, Squeaky Bill, catches up with us. It's been about a month and a half but he shared an update on his babies. He also gave his opinion on a new experience he had at Colonial Downs along with what he's looking forward to.

Boss Lady is our former trainer and has a vast amount of knowledge on horse racing. We asked a few questions and she gave us her POV about claiming, her favorite horse, and a couple of her go to places to grab a bite when in Tampa.

My Bestie joins the show to give a different POV on what goes on at the race track. He also gives his favorite piece of work which blew me away.This is the kind of stuff that makes horse racing so awesome.
