Tried and True is a podcast in which civil servant, human rights advocate, and world traveler Adewonuola attends randomly selected criminal trials across North America as a public observer and evaluates the trial’s fairness against international human rights standards. The purpose of the show is to highlight the prevalence of state abuse of power in courts and empower prospective jury members to keep state powers in check. This show will expand audience’s perception of due process, accountability, and fairness.
