The Motor City gave rise to the automobile assembly line and mass production that drove America into freedom on the road. Just 25 minutes outside of Detroit, is the city limits of Pontiac, MI, GM’s Pontiac East Assembly plant produced some of the greatest muscle cars of the time in the GTO and Firebird Trans-Am. For Deshawn Grady… AKA Trigg Da Kidd, the historical tales of Pontiac is nothing new to him. Taught the history of the city in grade and high school was mandatory, but at home in his neighborhood of South Side, the rules of the streets were detrimental for survival.
