Welcome to the 12th episode of the Troubled Artists Podcast. In today’s episode, I’m interviewing singer and drummer, Clementine Moss.Clementine Moss is the founder and drummer of Zepparella, with a busy solo career as a singer and songwriter. Her book, "From Bonham to Buddha and Back: The Slow Enlightenment of the Hard Rock Drummer" uses her music career as metaphor for contemplative practice. Clem moved to New York City with a creative writing degree after college, and her writing path gave way to a musical one when she found drumming. In 2016, she began her blog Bliss and Drumming, and many of those pieces are found in various forms in, and were the impetus for, her book: Clementine is a spiritual counselor and a nondenominational Minister at The Foundation for the Sacred Stream. Using the modalities of Depth Hypnosis, Applied Shamanism, Energy Medicine, Sound Healing, and Morphic Awakening techniques, Clem has an active healing practice. She is certified in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Conflict Resolution. A Vipassana meditator for over thirty years, her study and personal practice spans many traditions.She lives in San Francisco with music manager and musician Tim Moss, and Henry the pug. In today’s episode, I’m interviewing Steven Morgan.Steven Morgan is a Welsh comedian, improviser, storyteller, actor, writer, musician as featured on Australia’s ABC and the UK’s BBC. Living in Utrecht, NL, where he moved from Brisbane, AU, Steven has toured and performed in famous comedy clubs and festivals around the world alongside acts such as Stephen Carlin, Damien Power and Lara Ricote. Since moving to The Netherlands, he became a cast member and Head of Learning with Amsterdam’s easylaughs and is a regular on the English-language scene around mainland Europe.He regularly teaches improv and standup for private and corporate clients. He was one half of Tru2U with Rogier Bak, was a former performer and teacher with Eindhoven’s Chili Con Comedy and was the host of Real Power Talk, a comedy interview series launched in conjunction with the media company All Things Loud featuring artists such as PUP and Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever.He's also an actor who has starred in ITV's Professor T, the feature film Drack (2019) among others. In 2017 he ran the Bris Funny Fest, a comedy fringe festival in Brisbane, Australia featuring over 100 shows over the course of two weeks. From 2008 - 2016 he was one third of the electro pop band Neon Highwire, regulars in the club scene in London, UK and known for their quirky performances.In August 2025 he became a father for the first time, which put him on a new path of discovery and learning, with the performance arts taking more of a backseat. Episode #2: Pete Berwick
Welcome to the second episode of the Troubled Artists Podcast. In today's episode, I'm interviewing Pete Berwick, an actor and musician from Chicago. Pete Berwick has nearly half a century of experience in all avenues of entertainment. He has recorded, produced, and distributed seven critically acclaimed albums of his original music via his record label, Shotgun Records, written and published five books, and has worked on the production side as well as acted in over 100 film and television projects since 1989. As an actor in film, he has earned seven Best Actor awards from film festivals across the globe. He has worked with notables in the movie industry such as Samuel L. Jackson and Clarence Williams lll, and in the music industry, with Charlie Daniels and Travis Tritt. Berwick put together his first band, a punk rock outfit, in 1976, and by 1991 was signed to an independent record label in Nashville, where he made a respectful name for himself as an innovator and pioneer of alternative-country and cowpunk. He has managed and toured the nation with his various bands through the decades, while building an entertainment company called Big Top Entertainment, featuring variety acts, where he booked and produced 300 events a year for over 20 years.In 2008 he co-produced and starred in an episode of ABC’s reality series, Wife Swap, and in 2017 appeared as a standup comedian on NBC’s America’s Got Talent.
