Another wonderfully busy FlossTube update as I navigate a rotation of six different projects in progress, amongst other things. It has been a very busy few weeks, and my hoop (or rather, my MANY hoops!) has been full. I’m leaning even further into the work-in-progress life today with updates on *eight* different projects, including my progress on "Extraordinary Birds" and a very nostalgic return to my "Firefly" sampler. It has been a very work-in-progress-heavy fortnight around here! Between finding a sudden flow state with a brand new design and making some serious headway on the new "Post-Apocalypse Fantasy" piece, my needle has hardly had a rest. I also share the bittersweet joy of finally releasing "Zodiac: Pisces," which marks the completion of my year-long Zodiac series. It’s a lovely feeling to see a long-term project reach the finish line.Beyond the hoops, life has been a bit of a mixed bag. I’ve been dealing with some frustrating computer issues and a rather literal "ouch" moment after trying a new skincare product. I even had my very first encounter with being pulled over by the police for something incredibly silly! We're back with more stitchy goodness! This past fortnight has been a bit of a whirlwind here. Between mid-winter break with my girls and two days of beautiful snowfall, I've had plenty of time to huddle up with my stitching. I finally finished the Flower Dragon Meadow SAL, and after a little bit of "frog therapy" on a strawberry dragon, I am absolutely in love with the new yellow replacement. Plus, I have a brand new pattern release to share: "Boy Band", inspired by the Saja Boys (from "K-Pop Demon Hunters"). It's full of fire, fashion, and beautiful colours!We're also checking in on a mountain of WIPs, from the slow "reveal" of the "Fairytale" HAED SAL to some of the final stitches on my "Zodiac: Pisces" pattern, which completes the entire series! I've also been doing some 'retail therapy' with a haul from nathnolu and FlossyFoxShop — because one can never have too many patterns in their stash.The biggest news of all? I'm headed to Stitch-Con this June! In this cosy FlossTube catch-up, I'm sharing what I've been stitching, designing, and thinking about over the past fortnight - the kind of update you can pop on while you work on your own project. In this episode of FlossTube, I'm sharing a cosy catch-up on what I've been stitching over the past fortnight — including progress on The Starry Night, Flower Meadow, and Flower Dragon Meadow. There are no finished pieces this time and no new patterns in my shop either, thanks to a busy stretch of commission stitching. My latest FlossTube is finally here, and I'm kicking things off with a brand-new cross-stitch pattern reveal: "Zodiac: Sagittarius"! This episode ended up packed to the brim, even if it hasn't been the week I'd planned (hence why this is a day late!). I finally get to show you my finished bookmark design from 'Spellbound Stitches Volume 5: Bookmark Book', which has been the world's longest tease [sorry, not sorry?]. This fortnight's FlossTube is packed with stitching updates, new patterns, and some fun little life bits in between!I've got a finished piece to share — well, almost! A huge drop in the number of works-in-progress compared to last FlossTube, but I've made so much progress, though! Which you can't be upset about… right? 😅I didn't really plan long term on releasing multiple cross-stitch patterns last week, but I'm glad I made it work and managed to get them both out on time. As of the 17th, my FlossTube series is 4-years-old! I started way back in 2021, not really knowing what to expect from my videos. I'm officially wrapping up my 30s now, I guess..!In this fortnight's episode, I touch on a number of different things. It's only the second FlossTube for 2025 and I already have my first finished piece for the year to share with you. Wowzers! I still don't really know why I felt so inclined to only work on a couple of my works-in-progress pieces this fortnight. More than just needlepoint work is going on - what is this?!
