Rights and Responsibilities
We've discussed free will and freedom. Boiled it down to rights and responsibilities. Let's take a deeper look at what the nitty-gritty of that looks like. This is the emotional part 1. Come back for the practical part 2. If you have any questions or comments, email [email protected]

A reflection on power
Power is a diabolical drug. Craved by all, held on to by few. We all have some level of power in our lives. With that great power comes great responsibility. Let's take a look and reflect on what power does to certain people and how they behave with it. If you have any questions or comments, email [email protected]

Gotta represent
What do you care about? Is there something you would give up your life for? Would that something give up itself for you too? If not, then is it worth it? We all choose to align ourselves with something greater than ourselves. Whether that is a country, or a cause, or a whatever. What do you represent? When you do something, are your actions effected by your desire to represent your people in the best light? Will you choose patience if it means bringing someone closer to goodness as opposed to pushing them further away from you?

Too many masjids in Illinois
Why do we keep building masjids in Illinois? Why can't we build some in the boofoo parts of America where there are definitely muslims that are having trouble finding a masjid? Or what if we took that money and gave it back to the community and helped families in need? You may not agree with me, but the truth deserves an open mind.if you have any comments or questions email [email protected]

A Reflection on sincerity
Your intentions matter and where your sincerity lies tells a lot about your intentions while doing any action. Let's reflect on what kind of sincerity or intentions yield the most goodness and appreciation. Cause at the very least, even if we say we don't want anything in return for a favor, a little love and appreciation is expected. How can we get love and appreciation that lasts forever? if you have any comments or questions email [email protected]

Time and its uncertainty
We of course shape our reality through our relationship with time. We're born, we live, we die and everything ever seems to work the same way. Is it really true though? What if time was one big block of occurrence and everything that has ever happened or will happen is occurring all at once, but we perceive it in a linear fashion because of where we are within that space time. As we know, time is relative. What if it is only relative to us within that block? What if something could exist outside of that block and time does not apply to it. All of a sudden, applying the concept of before or after becomes illogical. if you have any comments or questions email [email protected]

Analytical philosophy of the word Muslim
I've said the word "muslim" and "Islam" a lot. Let's break down those words and take a look at it objectively. Let's define it together so that we can be on the same page while we're here. As I've said before, this is not to persuade anyone into doing anything. I simply want to be clear from my own end and look at the words, without bias, for what it means at its core. if you have any questions or comments email [email protected]

In tune
It's interesting to think how much the truth lies with nature and science. Science does not have to be in opposition to the truth, it is hand in hand with it. Being in tune with nature can only bring us closer to the truth. If you have anything to say leave a comment or email [email protected]

Layers
Have you ever noticed how everything is layered? Some have more layers than others, but it seems like you can always dive a little deeper into whatever you're looking at? Let's think about it together. If you have anything to say leave a comment or email me. [email protected]

Reflection on grit
The Prophets are not more than human. They were sent to us as guides and templates. How can we use their stories to reflect on our everyday lives? This is definitely not the last time I'll do a segment like this. If there are any experiences or stories that you've come across or researched then I'd love to hear about it and perhaps talk about it in our next reflection session.
